Hakim Optical - Erin Mills Town Centre

I went in for a repair on a brand new pair of my son’s glasses that my son broke. I didn’t think I would find the part for it anywhere but I was amazed when Salman went through the trouble of looking through all of their glasses to find a replacement arm. Exceptional customer service for a dad who needed some desperate help!

Savreet is polite, courteous and a thorough professional. Last year my glasses and frame both broke down due to an accident. I was surprised they replaced the frame free of cost and charged minimally for lenses.Recently, I went to try many shops for better designs, but couldn't find any that would compete with their products or service.And am glad my wife and I again opted for Hakim, they always go above and beyond.Amazing staff, great manager and lovely people in general. They do minor repairs without a second thought. We spent hours shortlisting our frames- and all of their staff helped us without beinggl pushy.Coming again next year only for the staff that you have here

I ordered 2 pair of glasses and they are the quickest as they called me just in 2 days after the order and got it delivered to me. Vidhi and Savreet helped me out in the entire process and called me to pick up the order and they all there are very helpful and kind. Will recommend to visit them and make purchases.

I received very good service on my initial visit. The lady I dealt with understood my requirements and offered many suggestions and advice. I was shown approx. a dozen choices in the range/type I was targeting. The final price was reasonable.When I went to pick up my glasses the staff was again very attentive and helpful, making a few minor adjustments during the fitting and then I was on my way. Great service!

Horrible customer service. They don't even call you when your glasses or contact lenses come in. You have to chase them

I went to this location a couple of days ago and was served by Savreet and Salman. I received exceptional service, they spent time with me finding the perfect frames. They are the BEST and I recommend everyone come to this location!

I ordered a new pair glasses for a winter getaway and I specifically checked to make sure that the particular lenses I need could be tinted. They said Yes. I also said I needed them before I left the country on Dec 28. I was assured that since it was longer than two weeks lead time that it would be Fine. I called today since it was more than 2 weeks to check on them and sure enough they came back but due to a “lab error” they were not tinted which I need. I was obviously upset and asked them to have the lab correct the problem asap as I was leaving the country. They said they would check and call me back which they did only to tell me that it would take at least another week to correct the problem which was their error in the first place. So not only have I wasted the money on these glasses as I now have no choice but to get the prescription remade in the US and another huge cost. The Hakim at Erin Mills Town Centre has no sense of customer service and no interest in helping a customer solve an issue that Hakim created. I haven’t bought anything at Hakim in years as the last time I did there was a problem. I decided to give them another try. My mistake! Don’t waste your money or time with a company who clearly is not in business to serve customers- just serve themselves

Very bad and careless management. They charged my daughter for an eye exam while she is covered by OHIP, they have no control over their assigned optometrist, if and when you complain they never get back to you. I even filled a complaint jn their website and they just ignored it. The only calls I recieved where from the optometrist trying to explain why he charged us money and he is not convincing as OHIP regulations are clear. Not a single follow up from Hakim optics management. Very bad customer care.

I have ordered 3 pairs of glasses at this Hakim optical within two orders. The first time I received good customer service from staff however the glasses did take a long time to come in and I had to call to follow up to find out the status and didn't receive a call to let me know they did arrive. The second time I ordered was two weekends ago and no follow up. I called today to find out the status and the girl who answered put me on a long hold and then came back and told me I already picked up my glasses. I advised her I didn't which is why I was calling and she said I did pick it up on December 24th. I was adament I didn't and she put me on another hold and came back and said actually it will be in tomorrow and hung up. I called back to let her know she could have at least apologized for the mix up and she still didn't, and eventually said sorry about that, sounding very sarcastic. I was really concerned when she initially said I picked it up since I had already paid for the glasses. That was absolutely terrible service I won't be ordering from this location again.

The staff at this location are very kind and helpful. Two stars because of the quality of the frames at Hakim Optical. I got a pair of Hakim Optical branded plastic frames from them and to my surprise they literally broke on my face while I was wearing them, a few months later. The bottom right area of the frame just cracked. The staff replaced the frame again no charge. A few months later, the same thing happened. They tried to replace the frame again for me but the original frames were discontinued, and so I had to choose a new style and they fit my lenses into it.Today, it happened for a third time, but I was informed I would need to pay this time. I have been wearing glasses since I was a child, and for the past 10 years been ordering plastic frames online from Clearly, ZenniOptical and other budget websites, and this has never happened to me. I treat my glasses carefully and don’t drop them, and for 3 frames to break in the span of 1.5 years, is crazy to me. Do not waste your money on hakim optical branded plastic frames.
