Stoneworks Bistro
A team of 14 of us were wandering around Winnipeg trying to find a place to accommodate us last minute and feeling very tired and hungry. We then came across Stoneworks Bistro and they immediately served us all delicious food. The soup was absolutely amazing as well as their wraps and pizza. They even went the extra mile to re-open their back seating area to give us a place to sit and eat! They chefs were some of the kindest people we’ve met in Winnipeg and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

This is a welcoming space with delightfully nice staff. A very comfortable space and wonderful food and coffee.I will definitely recommend Stoneworks Bistro to friends.

I’ve had a couple of the soups so far and they are fresh and delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are great (and cheaper than Tim’s)! The Affagato for my afternoon pick-me-up was AMAZING, with homemade ice-cream and fantastic espresso. Great prices, good portions. Have yet to try the muffins and pastries but are also house made and look delicious

I stopped to pick up lunch from Stoneworks Bistro for the first time today and will absolutely be back! I had beef barley soup and a bacon, mushroom & mozzarella popover (I think that's what they called it?). Both were so fresh and delicious - the beef barley soup is probably the best I've ever had, with lots of bits of beef and chunks of perfectly cooked carrots and celery. The fellow who helped me choose what to have was super great and the Denise, who rung up my meal, is so lovely and friendly. Truly a wonderful addition to Winnipeg Square!

I got the ribeye ciabatta and it was so drowned in horseradish it was inedible. This is not the first time I’ve had disappointing food from here. Will not be returning.

Today was the first time I ate here and it definitely won't be my last. The sandwich i ate was fantastic, and the people behind the counter made the experience top notch. The woman who took my order (I didn't catch her name) was so upbeat and happy... she made my day better just in our short interaction.

Stoneworks Bistro
Stoneworks is an excellent addition to Winnipeg Square and I dare say the best bistro in downtown. Its soups are creative, flavourful and chalked full of fresh ingredients (you can tell). The sandwiches and pop-ups are also great. Most importantly, the chef and staff are all very friendly and the service has a nice personal touch.
