Clear Creek Hot Springs

Lots of ATVs, bikes, jeeps and trucks made it up the hot springs with 30+ ppl out there today. Our group walked though from km 2. Snow line is at 600m with no new snow on the ground, lots of deep ruts and sketchy washouts. We booted up as the snow is hard crusted and no spikes needed. There's a little change room on-site. Minus one star due to crowds, smokes and litters everywhere. We saw a ferret today which totally made the day while soaking with its fluffy white coat dashing across snow.

Definitely need a high clearance 4X4 Drive! Even so, We have to park our truck @ 7Km, luckily we met nice cool people to give us ride and finish the last 2km hiking. Overall, beautiful place but needs a lots of effort to get there.

Absolutely a hidden gem. Been going here for years. That being said the area is maintained by local 4x4 groups. Pack out what you Pack in don't be an a$$ hat. We left with 8 garbage bags full of empties and garbage. Help keep this area nice don't ruin it for others. The drive to the actual hotsprings is 4x4 only not for cars.

The spot is really cool.. But some of the people it attracts are the worst. We were just starting to enjoy the pool yesterday and a family of 3 joined us shortly after. They instantly set up right ontop of us even though there were 2 empty tubs, and started splashing us, throwing tennis balls and hitting us, and encouraging their dirty dogs to come into the tubs. Their young kid wiped out 3 times in our short visit, I felt sorry that his parents clearly didnt care at all about his safety. We left shortly after which Im sure was their intention. I wish their was a host or someone to take care of the springs and make sure people treat it and others with respect. Pretty sad when it comes to that because a few terrible people can't act with basic decency.

Such a great opportunity for me to see this beautiful, relaxing area with my friends as No way to reach this area without a high ground clearance 4x4 with steep approach and exit angles.** please pick up your garbage and pack up with yourself as there is no garbage pick up here! As we got there , we have to clean up lots of cans, bottles, left over food and diapers!Its about 40 km gravel road and about 5-7 km which needs a high clearance 4WD.If you are driving with no back up , be aware that there is no signal if you need any help. As l saw 2 families came with kids, l thought it can be helpful to give people a heads up before planning to get here with family alone.

Very nice, rustic hot springs. The first tub was nice and warm. Enjoyed it for a nice 15 mins or so. Would have been much longer but it was a spontaneous adventure. Great day, great drive

Amazing wild hot spring. The road condition is really bad. Don't even try without a high clearance car. Just a reference that I took my Outback and still got scratches on my front bumper. Day trip is also too short consider how much effort to get there. It will be really nice to soak in with stars and water and forest sounds.As per mentioned in previous reviews, people really need to pay more respect to the nature. A lot of beer cans, garbages. The wooden bin smells a bit of urine too. Not cool.

Best to go early morning no traffic, main fsr past the lake extremely dusty. Pretty easy drive up , lots of cross ditches a few washouts boulders..Low clearance vehicles beware there will be carnage.. lol
