BC Cannabis Store

I prefer to buy from the BC Cannabis Store as other stores are exactly like a cold beer and wine store. They tend to mark up most products much like a cold beer store would. This is like going to the BC Liqour Store, buy from the source. Not the middle man.

I went into the store today to pick up some products for my father who is currently battling stage three pancreatic cancer, and based on the recommendation of a friend I was told to go there and pick up some CBD oil and other products that may help. I was greeted by a lovely lady named Ashley as soon as I stepped inside, and started my walk around the store. It is extremely clean in there, everything is so well laid out and lots of great options. As someone that is not very familiar with cannabis products I went back to Ashley and asked for help and she was so empathetic, knowledgeable, and respectful. She helped me find products and explained the uses of each of them and what kind of ingredients were in each of them and what it did in terms of pain management. I walked out of the store within less than 10 minutes of being there thanks to her help!Ashley, if you see this I just want to say thank you so much. I left the store crying out of joy knowing that someone there who really cared and understood without judging, and was there to greet me and help me navigate the store and grab items that I hope help my father. I love how passionate and knowledgeable you are about what you do, and you really helped ease my nerves.I will most definitely be returning and buying more products!

Normally I am very impressed by this store and the employees that work there. The employees were always professional. I liked that it didn’t have the traditional “pothead” store vibe. Tonight was a disappointment. I was attempting to place my order and a friend of the employee was lingering around the counter and kept interrupting my transaction and distracting the employee. I wasn’t too upset with the employee at first because she can’t control her friend’s behaviour. However, she did nothing to correct the issue and added fuel to the fire by introducing her friend to other employees while I was still attempting to finish my order. She told the other employees that her friend was the one who got her into “smoking pot”. Apart from the clear issues with Covid rules regarding maintaining personal distance, the level of unprofessionalism was disappointing.

The best experience! As soon as you walk in greeted with smiles and no pressures. Rep from Glaciers gold helped me right away to find what I needed. Store rep already had my purchase at the front counter where the cashier was literally the kindest person I ever had the pleasure of talking with. She told me it's 15 day return exchange on bad product. This was the best instore experience of buying stuff over liquor store, Costco, mall, grocery ahah. And I got a free coffee and donuts. You have to come here and just poke your head inside! Inexpensive products too.

Bought an ounce of some mid grade bud. Found myself getting more and more sick with a sore throat and coughing every time I'd smoke it. Turns out they don't test any of the products they are selling in house. Also because i didn't contact them within 15 days they told me to contact the grower and they couldnt help me. Choose your bud carefully

Unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star review after my most recent experience. I purchased 5 separate 1/8s of flower. When I got home I realized one of the 1/8ths was not what I had asked for. I called and spoke to the manager who told me to come by and exchange it, no problem. When I went in for the exchange the same employee who served me was working, great I thought. I explained to him there was some miscommunication and he gave me the wrong product. Instead of apologizing, he was very defensive and stand-offish. I was really surprised and taken back. He even went as far as to tell me that, “he remembers exactly what I ordered.” The product was a completely different price point, quality, and name. It wasn’t even really an excusable mistake but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt as he got increasingly more upset and defensive. Strange and off-putting interaction.

Very nice store. Nice layout with lots of options. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely shop here.

Make sure to weight your products cause they tend to rip you off. I was short 2.5 grams on an ounce.
