Helping Hands Daycare Port Perry

Helping Hands Port Perry has been great! Our 2.5 year old son has attended for just over a year. He enjoys the socialization with peers, many activities provided, meals and staff a lot! Every day he comes home he has lots to tell us about his day. They are very vigilant and every little bump on the playground is reported promptly. Communication is great! They get back to you with any concerns almost instantly, they also have a great app where we get updates including photos, a mood description, bathroom information, meals, and sleep tracked to the minute. There are also detailed weekly schedules including all snacks and meal as well as a plan for the day!Great staff and place to take care of your child when you can’t be with them yourself, or even for a break! We couldn’t be happier and plan to send our new baby as well!

My son starting at helping hands a few months ago in the pre school program and they have been so amazing every step of the way! They made us all feel very comfortable and at ease with the transition. We can’t wait to enrol our daughter as well. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has had a very positive experience at Helping Hands. She comes home everyday talking about or showing something new that she learned that day! Staff are always making the extra effort to provide special experiences for the kids - like a lending library, fun crafts and theme days. Thank you to all the caring staff at HH!

I absolutely love this daycare, and better yet, my son loves it! After my son turned 3 I had an opportunity to grow with the company I worked for, but that ment I had to work more than part time. With my son only ever being watched by myself or his grandmother, I was so nervous about sending him anywhere. After the first day, I knew it was a great fit. You absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing this daycare!

We love Helping Hands centre Port Perry! Our daughter has been going there since she turned 12 months old and has been there about 4 months now.We cannot say enough amazing things about the staff, in particular her teachers in the infant room. My daughters transition from home to daycare was smooth and she grew to love it there very quickly. Her teachers are amazing with her, comfort her, teach her new things and she just loves going every day! Thank you HHDC Port Perry for being so caring and wonderful ❤️

Our son looks forward to going to daycare every day, and has since day one. The staff are excellent and the facility is top notch. A great place to send kids for early education and fun.

My daughter has been attending HHDC in Port Perry since it opened in September. She absolutely loves it and I can’t say enough great things about it! The staff are wonderful and the HiMama app is a bonus - I receive pictures and updates throughout the day. Would strongly recommend this Centre:)

We have just recently moved to Port Perry and our son has recently started at Helping Hands in Port Perry and they are absolutely fantastic!!!! Super friendly and our son is so excited to go! It’s such a great feeling knowing that he is having a blast and I don’t have to worry throughout my day if he’s ok! Thank you very much to all of you at Port Perry Helping Hands! Helping Hands daycare in Port Perry is the best daycare we have attended in the Port Perry area! I have 2 children that attend and they absolutely love going there! They look forward to going every day and seeing their teachers and friends. One of my children attends the full time preschool program and the teachers are very professional and caring. We have a great relationship with them! My other child attends the after school program and always looks forward to the days she gets to go! Helping Hands is a clean environment and provides stimulating activities for my children every day. We highly recommend this daycare to all of our friends! Thank you for all that you do!

When they first opened - all great. Centre is kept clean. Teachers are great with our kids (and the only reason at this point why they even get a 3 star). There could obviously be room for more improvement. Administration on the other hand is questionable especially the CEO. They send newsletters that are threatening and political without any focus on their curriculum or any innovative and creative things to do for our kids. I have had other parents and mental health professionals read this and agree that he is unprofessional and no regard for addressing parents concern in a professional and compassionate manner.
