Pet Valu

Like the good selection of quality dog toys. These are so much more durable. We've tried the knock off versions and they are usually falling apart in minutes.

I always have a great experience in this Pet Valu. The staff are attentive and helpful, they're proactive and knowledgeable about their rewards programs and product recommendations, and I very rarely have any stock issues, like in the Pet Valu I lived close to before I moved to Humboldt. They are always very very active with the local SPCA, and they make customer donations and participation a breeze. I've never come across an expired product and all of their markdowns are monitored closely and donated before they outdate. Truly wonderful service!

Awesome addition to Humboldt! At least I don't have to wait going to a large city to keep my kitty healthy and happy! Very large selection of car foods both dry and wet. It's just about the only place I can get large cans of cat food. I also have 2 cats around the farm so I can feed all three cats with the one can. All foods are real foods with no additives without grain fillers! Excellent choices of toys, beds, leashes, shampoos, vitamins and gifts are reasonably priced for quality. They had 2 kittens there for purchase, one all grey and one all black, Coconut and Bermuda! Will be a regular stop now!

I love this facility for bathing my dogs, the tubs and big and can accommodate my large dogs. The staff are usually pretty helpful and the selection is great. Nice that they always have donations available for the spca

This is bar none the best Pet Valu I've ever gone to and I've been going to this chain since the 80s. The guy there helped me find everything I needed, explained something about the dog food I didn't know which was very helpful and then the younger boy that was working there offered to carry out the dog food for me and waited patiently for me to make room in the trunk amongst all my hockey stuff. The store was also more organized and cleaner than any of the other stores I've shopped in and the dog wash bays look nicer than most of the bathrooms in five star hotels I've stayed at. My only regret is that there aren't more stars I can give this place than the 5 google has provided.

Love how clean it is in there! My boy sure loves to go sniff around and pick out a treat once a month!! Most of the staff is pretty nice and they usually have a couple kittens up for adoption which I make a point of staying away from, I know my daughter...I know the turnout....Prices are a bit steep but quality right!

Friendly staff who help out our Humboldt and District SPCA in different ways. Great selection and atmosphere.

Revising my earlier 5 star review. They have a new hire who really needs an attitude adjustment. She's going to have a hard time keeping a job after university. Not sure if they are having financial problems and couldn't keep their usually excellent staff but strongly recommend this location be avoided.Previous review:This location is fantastic and I always take my big King Shepherd / Malamute in here for his bath. Staff are fantastic and know him when he comes in. Always well treated here!

Good store. Has all the necessities a pet could need.

Great working people. Also a couple Betta fish for sale as that's all they carry. Also SPCA Cats & dogs
