Barrie Georgian Taxi

I called for a quote ahead of time since we are a big group of people needing transportation, but they answered the phone with no taxis available" and hung up... when I was asking for a quote for days from now. So unprofessional & shocked this business is still running

Absolutely unprofessional call center, i went to order a taxi about 5 minutes ago and the person who picked up told me we have no taxis available as soon as i asked for one and hung up i will never be calling here again or using your services. I hope no one uses this service here in town.

I used this company yesterday to get from Barrie to Severn Bridge as my car is in repairs for one day. The ride last night was fine. I asked the driver from yesterday Kay to pick me up next morning (April 19th, 202) at 7:40 a.m. to make sure I get to court on time for work. Kay confirmed he will pick me at 7:40 next morning. At 7:45 a.m. I called Kay who told me in a casual tone that he will arrive in about 25 minutes as he was tired this morning". No apology. No phone call to advise that he will be late. I cancelled the taxi as I did not feel comfortable travelling with such unprofessional driver who has no respect for customers' schedule and need to be at work. Will not use this company again."

I had a very nice experience with Georgian Taxi. They have new big luxury and very roomy cars. Drivers are nice and cool. Preferred to have this cab service in Barrie.

Just watched one of your drivers advance on a red before it had turned green to cut in front of me on Essa, then cut through two pedestrians while turning right. After that, I watched him turn left twice with no signal, the second time advancing on a yellow with plenty of time to stop.I'm sure your fare is very important, but how about we learn and follow the rules of the road. The safety of your passenger, pedestrians and those who are driving around you are more important than making a few extra bucks.

I haven't had to take a cab in years called old cab companies I use to use, their phones just rang and rang or picked up and placed on hold so I called this company, they answered right away and arrived in 5mins, in a cab with debit and got me to my destination for under $20!

I cancelled and they charged me a 65 dollar charge. Nothing said about a cancellation fee. Don’t use them.he thinks it’s because he doesn’t take payments over the phone but that’s actually not the problem. I called to cancel the taxi period. Then he said I charge 65.00 to cancel.He’s actually lying.

Truly a great taxi service! I use this company as they are quicker to answer calls when i can which can be at different times of the day. They assist me with my groceries and never wait more than expected time!Reliable,respectful and trustworthy! I will definitely use again and tell my family and friends they are ones to use!! I pre-booked a taxi that never should up, and when I tried calling nobody answered. I missed my train and had to cancel my trip.

I have tried all the taxis in Barrie and Georgian was very respectful, reliable ! They answer their phones quickly and the drivers were there when expected and got to my destination in a reasonable time! Not driven the long way so they could rack up prices! Will use Everytime it call a taxi!
