Absolute Fitness For Women

So many horror stories about this place, I know a few people that had membership documents forged by the staff here and were then charged for months and couldn't get out of the contract. The staff is rude and pushy. The equipment looks old and it smells awful in there. I wouldn't recommend this place ever.

I had a traumatizing experience. My mother and I were at the shower then suddenly the lights were shut off, we both were screaming and so scared. It was a huge trip hazard, specially for my mom since she has some mobility issues. We were also about to be locked at the gym. I ran out of the shower and found the lady who was closing, and when i told her how did you turn off the lights, turn them on now, my mom is still in the shower. While the lights are still off the lady started telling me that she did that because it’s few minutes after their closing time. Instead of apologizing for such a big mistake and rushing to turn on the lights, she was arguing and saying it’s our mistake. That is very missed up.I emailed the management regarding my concern, but days have passed and i didn’t hear back from them.Very disappointing experience.

This place is honestly amazing! Its such a peaceful environment to workout in and the staff is so kind! This gym offers so many great classes that help encourage you and feel more confident! I’ve been to many different gyms but I have never had such an amazing experience so overall I would definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!!

I absolutely LOVE this gym. The staff at this gym are incredibly kind and courteous and have always provided excellent customer service. The layout of the gym is very user-friendly and I really like the back room with access to the turf. The pool is large and clean. The locker rooms are always kept tidy. The location of the gym is great especially with easy access from EC Row and/or the downtown area. I would recommend this gym 10/10 times for any ladies who are looking for a top-quality experience. Thank you to the staff of Absolute! Keep up the great work.

Let's make it simple old is gold, after going to new gym in town I miss the place the staff and the best trainer Carol so I'm definitely going back.

I’ve had a membership for a bit but haven’t fully used it to it’s capacity.I’ve recently been going to class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and feel great.I love the new schedule that includes that class “body sculpt” which is instructed by Cassie. Absolutely amazing.Unless with another customer, I’m always greatly when I come in and when I leave.Good experience thus far!

Best womens gym in the city! All the instructors are so nice.

I love this gym! All the staff are super friendly and nice. They greet you by name and always ask how you’re doing. There’s every machine you could think of, as well as a good weight area. There’s also many classes that you can take with great instructors. Overall, such a positive experience and I would definitely recommend to any woman looking for a gym!

It’s small and cramped no space to workout when it’s busy. Also it feels like there’s no AC?Their hours of operation really suck if you work weekends. Cell signal is also really bad inside and I’ve never been offered WiFi. Not well maintained, garbages never have bags, spray bottles empty. The bathrooms are cracked out & are always out of order, and barely even lock.Plus side it’s cheap and you get some classes, I guess you get what you pay for.

I am so so disappointed in this gym. Over and over again. They don't seem to care about their staff or their members. So many things could be done to encourage success and to help their members succeed, and they just don't care. I am injured and unable to get to the gym, but in order to pause my membership, I need to give 30 days notice AND I have to go in to sign. In the days where you can buy a house with an electronic signature, you can't pause a gym membership with an electronic signature. Absolutely ridiculous. Will be getting out of this membership as soon as I am able to without being charged to get out of it. I miss the YMCA.
