We purchased a home that already had solar panels installed on the roof by SkyFire in Penticton. Having the solar panels on the house was a huge plus in deciding on which home to buy.Our experience with SkyFire since moving in has always been professional and responsive, to the point where Daniel was answering my questions while on vacation.Using the app on my phone is so easy to make sure the system is running and to see how much power we are generating that day, week, month or even year.And finally, the savings we have on our power bill has far exceeded our hopes of how much the solar panels would help. The energy the panels generate are credited towards our bill and if we generate more than we use Fortis banks those unused kwh. in the fall/winter when it isn't as sunny we then use banked hours towards our bills. This has to be set up through Fortis, but even that is simple.Highly recommend solar panels and based on our experience with SkyFire in Penticton, they are the company to purchase and install them for you!

SkyFire Energy Inc installed our PV system at residence in Kelowna at the end of May. All aspects of this project exceeded our expectation. From first providing a quote, timely and competitive, Inverter and panel technology offered and scheduling, installing and commissioning the system as planned. So far, although less sun in June then most years the system is producing above plan.

SkyFire has been a valuable partner in a recently completed project my wife and I began last year to install a photo-voltaic system while also converting our aging natural gas furnace and hot water heater with energy efficient electric equipment. Our objective was to get off of fossil fuels with respect to our home while minimizing our eventual energy costs by installing the maximum solar system allowed by Fortis and registering for their net-metering program. SkyFire played an important role during this year-long process, going extra distances to keep our project moving ahead throughout 2022 a year characterized by material shortages, labour shortages and rapidly increasing costs to name a few.Ours was a complex project ultimately involving five separate contractors, a service upgrade from Fortis, and taking over one year to complete. SkyFire had the largest and most significant part of this project and proved themselves to be a top tier organization in all respects. Our SkyFire Project Manager, Lead Engineer and Installers were all personable, knowledgeable and experienced. All displayed well-practiced professionalism. Several times during the project my wife and I remarked about the SkyFire team as they worked how wonderful it was seeing people working who not only knew what they were doing but really liked what they were doing and worked well together as a team.That team extends back to home office services as well. SkyFire has an excellent project management and billing system as well as the equally impressive staff utilizing these tools. We had no issues with SkyFire which were not quickly resolved during the entire project. We consider our project a success and are grateful to SkyFire’s significant contributions to this success. Simply put, they were a delight to work with. My wife and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending SkyFire to anyone interested in adding a solar source of energy to their home or business.

We had great service from Landon, came to our home and took accurate measurements of the roof for the solar panels, checked out the house layout for the wiring, amperage allowed for our panels, type of wifi for the monitoring system and gave us a quote. Stu and crew that were working on our place were awesome, great people skills, let us know when they would be back, and what was going on and did a fantastic job on the cleanup and drywall and painting. When the job was completed Landon came back and did a walk through to explain things to us and make sure the job was done to our acceptance. We are repeat customers of SkyFire Energy: for an initial home solar panel installation, and for an expansion to that system a couple of years later. They were professional, provided timely service, and did great-quality work. The system appears to be maintenance-free, and has never had any issues. We now get all our energy needs covered by the sun!

I started talking with Landon a couple of years ago about installing some solar panels on our roof. Unfortunately, we didn't have the budget to realize our solar aspirations until this year, when I touched base with Landon again at a local EV/Solar event.This time, our budget was just enough to stretch to a 10.395 kWp system so we gave Landon and his team the go-ahead. It took about 4 days to install and commission our system (installation took a little longer than usual because we have a concrete tile roof), which went without a hitch. The installation guys were very professional and courteous, and didn't mind my frequent climbs up the ladder to watch what they did and how they did it (It's not every day one has solar panels installed!).Landon has more than a decade of dedicated solar-PV installation experience, and it shows. I have absolutely no qualms with recommending them to anyone in the market for a resident or commercial solar installation!

Very much appreciated working with Bryce and his team at Skyfire to install our solar system. They were highly informative regarding the process. The net metering agreement was approved shortly after they submitted the request.
