This was my first experience with B&B so I wasn't sure what to expect but I must say, that if your looking for gracious hosts, a beautiful home stunning grounds, great location and a great breakfast you've found it. Ross and Ruth Anne, the owners, were amazing.Will definitely go again!!

The host is a lovely man who made us feel welcome. The bedroom and separate bathroom were nice and clean. The hostess didn't make an appearance to say hi or bye. Breakfast was just ok - nothing special at all.

We loved our 2 night stay at this beautiful home and property.Ross and Ruth Ann are so hospitable and kind.Breakfast are delicious, especially the cheese and chive omelette.The location is close enough to Sydney andVictoria that we could easily drive to dinner and Butchart Gardens.And then back home for a glass of wine on the spacious deck to watch the sunset.We highly recommend Belle Maison!

Belle Maison Auprès De La Mer Bed & Breakfast
We needed a quick getaway and had to cancel the night we were booked. RuthAnne and Ross were so kind as to invite us to stay the next night instead, and we are so grateful to them. We stayed in their spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated little mini-house and enjoyed every minute, especially watching the stars on the front lawn at night. Breakfast brought the best scrambled eggs and omelette we have had in years, and we left rested and with full tummies. Wonderful folks and we very much appreciate their compassionate nature. Stay here for goodness' sake....you will be delighted.

Loved this beautiful place! This B&B is meticulous with spectacular views, ocean breezes, wonderful hosts and a fantastic breakfast. Our group booked two rooms: The Nest" which is perched up on the 3rd floor and the "One Bedroom Cabin". Both were quaint and very clean. I highly recommend you stop here on your travels. Worth a trip to Butchart Gardens from here."

We had first-class service from Ross and Ruthann. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfy and cozy and the view from the veranda was spectacular. It was so peaceful. Just what we needed.

This was the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Ruthanne and Ross are gracious hosts. We stayed in the Nest" on the third floor. It was so comfortable and clean. The skylights brought nice sunshine during the day and stars at night. We had access to the second floor balcony with a great view of the ocean. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Absolutely excellent. This was our first B&B experience and honestly it was better than a few hotels we've stayed in. The owners were lovely, so helpful and accommodating. The room was huge and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was great - the shower was spot on. Everything was clean. It was a great spot.
