Dingerz Batting Cages
I went there for the softball batting cage. The cages are crammed too close together, and you cannot swing fully without slamming your bat against the steel post beside you. When I complained to the manager, his only suggestion was for me to tighten up my swing. I come to a batting cage to practice my natural swing, not to modify it to accommodate their deficiencies.Not recommended.

This is exactly what you expect, 2 batting cages and 2 pitcher plates (for testing your speed). It's a fun place to go every once in awhile even if you don't play baseball.

It's really great to have a batting cage back in Ottawa proper. The dimple balls don't feel quite the same as a real softball, and trajectory is a little wonky, but it's still an excellent way to work on your hitting. The prospect of having an all team practice there for $150.00/hr is not bad, either.

My boyfriend and I went for a half hour which was honestly probably about enough for us. I really like how you can progress from slow pitch softball all the way up to 85 mph baseball. Wasn't too busy around 3 PM on a Sunday so maybe best time to go because they do not have a lot of batting cages

What other choices do you have for batting cages in Ottawa really? These guys are great nonetheless. Nicely tiered speeds for pitches, in-house licensed bar with some simple food (e.g. hot dogs) and a projector for sports.

Hi. Yeah very fun place to go. 1 hour is enough. Definitely recommend batting gloves if you can or you'll end up with blisters. It's not cheap but not expensive either.

Great way to kill a few hours. Brought my 9 year old son and his friend. Used the cages for a bit over an hour, had lunch at the little restaurant inside, then hit a bit more. It's clean and a great value with the 2-1 coupons through Groupon and online. Will definitely be back.It was fairly quiet, but I could see how it'd be very crowded thus a long wait for a batting machine. That'd be my only complaint had it happened....
