Cotta Food Bar
Mixed feelings sums up my experience. The decor is very nice! However my potatoes were partially raw, rosemary chicken bites were flavorful interesting concept bite sized chicken. The pizza was a miss for me it's the same odd dough they use for the bread which isn't very good at all. No one in our party liked the bread for the table it's terrible. Prices very reasonable for the decor. Would try again but overall just okay food. Could be special if the food was better the concept is there.

Had the BEST experience at Cotta. Great atmosphere and service. The food was FANTASTIC. Their pizza is the BEST I have ever had and the ricotta dumplings were delicious. I was there for a birthday party and the owner surprised us with shots for the entire table and free dessert. I highly recommend this wonderful gem.

A delightful 1st (won’t be the last) visit to Cotta Food Bar! We arrived on time for our reservation and were promptly greeted at the door and seated. The overall ambiance was welcoming, warm and comfortable. Live entertainment for a small space was perfect! Not overbearing or loud. Plenty of front house staff to handle any request. Our waiter was very attentive throughout our dining experience. Food was steaming hot and super delicious. We both had the Focaccia, Saltimbocca and tiramisu for dessert. From arrival to departure, just over an hour. A very enjoyable, relaxed dinner.

Cotta Food Bar
We stopped by this restaurant randomly. We had passed by a few times but never had a chance to go in. I have to say the food and service was exceptional! We just had appetizers and drinks but they were wonderful. The mood is awesome and it is super chill inside with a great vibe. We immediately reserved a table for a pre Father’s Day dinner! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

A fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting and the service was excellent. Attentive without being intrusive. Plenty of options on the menu and the wait staff and kitchen were willing to adjust a few menu items to suit our preference which was much appreciated.It is obvious that this restaurant puts the customer first, which is the way it should be. We will be back soon.

Cotta Food Bar
I really appreciate having a fabulous Italian restaurant close by in South Windsor. The food was absolutely delicious. We were a table of four and this was our second time dining here. Of the seven various meals (one person ordered the same meal twice), there were no complaints. The service was wonderful and the owner personally checked in to make sure our meal was to our liking. We will definitely return.

Let me start with the positive - service was very good and constantly kept our drinks filled. The appetizers were all very good. I really wish we could have had more appetizers for our dinner. Every single appetizer looked fantastic and tasted great. Focaccia was light and flavorful. Ricotta Dumplings were amazing. Shrimp was good, but not many on the plate. Octopus was very good. Spicy Mussels were absolutely fantastic and would love to have those as my dinner. Lamb Sausage was very good. Now for the rough part. I ordered a steak at the waitresses recommendation and description. I ordered Medium Rare and this looked good, the flavor of sauce was very good, but the steak itself was way overcooked and Medium Well to Well as you can see by the picture. When we brought it to the waitresses attention - she said - Oh Ok" That alone was very disappointing. Nothing was said or done about it. After that I ate what I could and left the rest."

Cotta Food Bar
We came here for my husband's birthday. It was our first visit. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and our waitress was so friendly, personable and attentive. The food was incredible!! We cannot wait to come back to try more menu items. We will definitely be returning and telling our family and friends to come here as well. What a great Saturday evening!

Cotta Food Bar
Enjoyed my birthday dinner at Cotta Food Bar. We went on a Monday evening and the place was quiet with a great atmosphere. Candle lit table with good music playing. We were served by Issac who was great! He was attentive and knew how to make a good cocktail. Thanks Isaac! We will be back.
