Incredible food and service, each dish was oishii. The price is high, but worth it for a special occasion.It’s a small intimate restaurant, where you get to interact with the chef and the rest of team (including having the sushi delivered hand to hand for the one bite experience). The decoris wonderful, elegant but subtle.

From the moment you arrive it’s a royalty experience. Not only is the food the best of Hokkaido, Japan, but the staff paid attention to every detail to ensure your experience is top notch in its beautifully crafted interior. It’s hard to go back to regular sushi after this experience. Highly recommended and Chef Saito-san is super friendly and down to earth.

The quality was definitely great however, I think it's overpriced for what it is. 2 Michelin stars should indicate creativity in the dishes and there was a lack of. None of the dishes in particular were a stand. Uni was good but not amazing, and overall I think for the price you pay there are better omakase options. If you're into Michelin dining then it is definitely worth a try!

An wonderful treat.The food was unbelievably fresh and hand crafted with so much care.The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.An incredible experience, took my dad for his birthday and he couldn’t stop smiling.An absolute pleasure I am looking so forward to being back.

One of the best dinners I have ever experienced! The service, the food, and the quality of the fish was 10/10. Chef Saito is truly gifted and I have never eaten fish like that. I had no idea what the menu was going to be but after the first course, I knew everything was going to be amazing.Only disclaimer, price is very high so save it for a special occasion. Would 100% recommend!

Had the best birthday here and can't wait for the next special occasion to come back. Loved the grilled eel, and never had steamed abalone that tasted like that before. Amazing experience would def come back!

One of the best sushi I’ve tasted in my life. The chef was friendly and funny. Very lovable dinner and would recommend to go. I was very lucky to get a reservation for one the last minute. I’m still savoring the monk fish.

Left speechless... absolutely phenomenal! Came here for Christmas and was blown away. Michelin star chef with Michelin star service. Chef Saito's humorous personality will ease you into the upscale environment. All the waitresses were detail oriented, tentative and unobtrusive.Let's not forget about that amazing food though. Just imagine, a mountain of freshly shaved white truffle on a bed of mouthwatering blue fin tuna. If that doesn't have you drooling, just you wait, it doesn't stop there. Chef Saito explained to us the process to make each dish in detail and stressed the importance of having the rice at a specific temperature. He personally made each batch of rice fresh to ensure that the temperature didn't alter the taste of the fish. It was apparent that he was extremely passionate with what he did. Would highly recommend!

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. But not because of the sushi, unfortunately I wasn't able to have any. My friend and I walked in at 9:31 on a Sunday and they turned us away and said the kitchen closed at 9.30. We drove 30 minutes to get there only to be turned away. On the website it says the restaurant closes at 10.30. I understand kitchens closing a bit earlier, but and entire hour before hand. Come on! It's sushi for crying out loud, everything is fresh there isn't a whole ton of prep. They definitely could have seated us. If the kitchen had only closed a minute prior. We were so tired and hungry, we didn't have the energy to debate with them. I never give bad reviews, but this left a really bad taste in my mouth!

I love this place. The chef is a master of his craft and the 2 Michelin stars are well earned. We’ve been here several times and will be even more as long as he’s in Toronto. The food, service, staff, and atmosphere are impeccable. The third star will come soon enough!
