After seeing a Tik Tok video, we decided to take the trek down to check this place out. Most of us had the buffet. The crab and lobster were served cold but fresh in true Portuguese style"

Over 3 weeks, we tried to make a reservation for 6 and when calling the restaurant no one answers, goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. Finally got a hold of someone but when they answered the phone I thought I had the wrong number as they didn’t answer the phone as any other business does, they just said “hello”.When arriving to the restaurant on a Friday evening , no one really greets you, we had to go look for someone. There was live music which was overall great and entertaining. After being seated, no one came around to ask for drink orders, or invited us to help ourselves at the buffet. After 10 min we just went and helped ourselves and had to flag someone down to ask for water and other drinks. The first girl we got said she’s too busy. The seafood buffet was ok - lots of selection even lobster however the quality of the food was poor. The rice tasted old and several lobsters were green. When asking about the lobster the waitress said the chef told her it’s dependent on what the lobster ate that day. Never seen this before when travelling to the maritimes or dining at any other seafood restaurant.I ordered a vodka soda and they only had 1 vodka that I’ve never heard of before, and smelled/tasted like rubbing alcohol. Had to send back.No service in general - we had to ask for cracker for the crab legs and losbster as well as ask for butter, napkins. So hard to get anyone for questions, to serve besides 1 girl …everyone else that came to serve was not friendly at all. When asking for payment we asked to split the bill 3 ways as there was 3 couples and the one woman lost it on us saying we should have told her, it’s complicating things etc. Very rude.I wouldn’t go back.

We were skeptical about the quality of service based on the number of reviews mentioning rude, unhelpful staff.Tonight our experience was excellent!Elder was our main server and he was friendly, kind and attentive. Checked on on us several times as he served many tables. We enjoyed the numerous seafood dishes. Some were served hot others were meant to be cold. For $68 all you can eat seafood buffet it was worth the hour drive into the city.Once the live music started you could feel the energy pick up in the room.Only advise I might share is to book your reservation for the earliest time you can get. We were 5:30, when we left at 7:20, there was a significant line up of reservations waiting to be seated.

We went for the buffet; it has a variety of food and they tasted great, except for the lobsters that were way too salty. They have an amazing singer that performed classic English and Portuguese songs. Our server was okay but oftentimes he forgot to attend our table, such as we waited for 10 mins after asking the water to be refilled. There was a miscommunication in our reservation. We reserved a table for 2 but later called to add it to 3 people. However, their system did not reflect the change and the receptionist did not appreciate when we told her we reserved a table for 3. She was not flexible until she decided to compromise our “last minute change” as they were very busy. (The restaurant was only half full that night)Overall, if you are a seafood lover, definitely give this place a try. Other than that, there are better options in the area.

Beautiful, highly recommended this location to go on a classy date. The servers here are wonderful, very pleasant, and friendly. The food was just amazing. Huge fan of the shrimp and rice. The salads looked amazing.Only reason I rated it 4 stars is because the crab was too salty and that was the main reason I came here. Was pricy, wish they had more options as well as dessert included in the buffet especially since the price per person was $68Overall a great experience. Thank you to all the staff

Exceptional dinner and hopefully you get Mauro as a waiter, he was excellent. The only reason I am rating it 5 stars is because of him. Update: I came back for a second visit a week later and had Barbara as a server and she was excellent. The service was amazing and the food was awesome again. Another 5 stars.

Overall experience was good and the live band is a nice touch. The ayce seafood buffet wasn’t what we expected because most of the seafood, including the lobster and crab legs were cold! For $65 a person you would think the food will be warm but it’s not and we were among the first ones there!

Went this evening to celebrate my mom's birthday. Very underwhelming for $65/person. There is a single buffet line without labels, so you don't know what you are selecting. The fried fish/shrimp/calamari looks and tastes like the pre-battered, frozen seafood you get and deep fry from bulk grocery stores, with no additional seasoning. The crab tasted off, and both the crab and lobster were served cold, and salty without extra flavour or any additional sauces or butter. I recognize this might be the Portuguese way of serving crab and lobster, so that might have been a misunderstanding on our part, but I do think that should be conveyed on the website since it's likely the major reason why people come and are willing to spend that much on the buffet. There was no dessert included with the buffet price. The best item was the baked fish, but that's hardly worth the price you pay. The service was adequate; quite responsive overall. There was a live performer interacting with the audience and in between songs when he was interacting with other guests, I approached him to ask if he'd sing Happy Birthday" for my mom. Unfortunately

The only thing this place is missing is a beach side view to enjoy the perfectly grilled fish. This felt like dining back home.
