Flashing was too short so water went back up under it, nails exposed on ridges, with insufficient wrap. Muskoka Roofing DID NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY with me. When they did the work, they were months late, and subcontracted to a crew who did a faulty installation, according to a siding contractor, a general contractor and a second company I hired to repair the damage. For two winters roof leaked in 8 places, no one answering phone in the office. Eventually the subcontractor returned in winter and blamed it on ice damming, which apparently was not the problem. Insurance has coughed up $10,000 to repair damage to first floor (2 floors below), and I paid over $3000 to Northbound roofing to redo all the valleys and ridges. I have not been able to finish renos in upper apartment, so have suffered loss of income of about $20,000.

From start to finish it was a good experience. Very professional and the office staff always called back. The 3 roofers did a great job. Joe looked after everything. Couldn't be happier.

I asked Muskoka Roofing for two estimates for two different types of roofing material - Enviroshakes and asphalt - as well as replacement of soffits, facia, and evestroughs. I requested this in writing and again, verbally, when the estimator arrived. All I got was one estimate - for asphalt shingles - but nothing regarding the soffits, fascia, and eves. I wrote again, repeating my initial request. To date, they have been 100% non responsive. Time to look elsewhere . . . . . .

Very bad communication skills, not very professional at all. When asking questions they drop you off and say they won’t do your roof with no explanation. A company that communicates that like when a customer asks questions should not be trusted, not professional in my opinion at all.

We wanted to let you know that we were very impressed with all aspects of the MRC service on our roofing job. The finished product looks great and the entire process to get to the new roof was a pleasure. In particular we wanted to compliment the crew who were extremely hard working, quality focused and great to have on site.

My roof leaked after a big thaw within 6 months. They came and inspected it. Said they made a mistake with the ice shield. I was told upon sight I section that they would come back and repair it along with upgrading my vents. They reneged on their promise. I was told that for the cup of coffee sized leak that they were not indeed going to help me due to their volume of work load. Do not pay them cash!!!!

Had a new metal roof installed 2 years ago only to discover they made a mistake in installing it and it now leaks. I have been waiting since last year for them to fix it. I have not heard a peep from them in months !Bliss Baker

Can’t say enough good about this company. I had an emergency situation after tornado went through and rip half my shingles off. It was tarped off till someone could shingle whole roof which was weeks away. A few days later it rained hard and I had rain coming into my kitchen. I talked to owner Ken and he had a crew their the next morning and did my roof in one day which was unbelievable great quality and very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Was very disappointed. Called for a quote, were told they would be out tomorrow and some of the guy's were looking for weekend work and might be able to squeeze us in sooner than later. It's been almost two weeks we even stopped into the office and no one came out. I don't recommend them.
