** DO NOT GO HERE** worst service, my daughter saved her money got a Mac book. The fan started to over work all the time shortly after she got it. I called they said it was nothing. Took it in, he looked at it and said it was nothing she must be using it a lot. Last month the screen started to go green .. went there for their help. They said send it out etc... in the end they called us come get it its not the screen. Is there anything you can do for us? NO go to apple. OK so I took it elsewhere . guess what THIS STORE KNEW there was something wrong and the fan was the indication from the start there was something wrong. So now the warranty (90 days) is over and it SOL for us. They are cheats and liars. STAY AWAY.

I took my Macbook Pro in for a new battery. I paid the same price as I would have taking it to an Apple store. After three months, it wouldn't hold a charge. I took it back and they told me the battery only had three months warranty. I was shocked. They then had the nerve to try and sell me another one. I later found that it was an after market product that was cheaper than the original battery. They should have told me when I first brought my computer in, but they didn't. Very disappointed. Won't go there again.

Awful service. Lady at front desk is not friendly at all. Had to buy a cord for hard drive out of my laptop. It broke so I took it back and the lady said I must have pulled it out too hard and the guy said I must not have pulled it out straight. Had to buy another one for something that was clearly a defect. They won't get any more of my business. I literally bought this cord 2 days ago for $25. Can't believe they wouldn' t warranty it.

Very pleased with service and price. I upgraded my 2013 MacBook Pro with new SSD hard drive, extra RAM and a new battery. They were prompt and very competent and Apple certified. They made my computer run like it was new again. They had the best price after I phoned around to other places. I don't understand the fuss about the lady at the front desk. She is direct, but she knows her stuff and she's honest. I definitely recommend Computer Concepts.

Very happy with the prompt and professional service. It's a pain having your iMac die, but Computer Concepts had me back up and running within a day and provided great support afterwards to recover my backup files.

Would rather put no stars at all. My experience with the owner and CEO David Melamed was absolutely Terrible and a complete waste of time. I had contacted him to purchase something he was selling online, I asked him to hold it until I could make it to his store to pick up. He demanded I provide him with all my credit card information to have it held until I picked up. I provided him everything and Within 12 hours he decided to sell it what I had put a hold on and was incredibly rude. I now see from the reviews that I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience. I would highly recommend no one wastes their time with Computer concepts Ottawa and more importantly the owner and CEO David Melamed.Best of luck to anyone that does!

My dad introduced me to this store when he bought us a refurbished MacBook Pro 9 years ago (he's been a long standing customer)...had it back at about year 5 to get the battery replaced and it's still working like a charm! Always great advise and fair pricing. David and Tammy know their stuff. No BS, they just tell it like it is and I'm left with the information I need to make an informed decision. We just bought our daughter her first refurbished MacBook Pro and expect she will have this for her highschool career and beyond based on the quality product they deliver. Thanks for building my trust and confidence with your knowledge and experience!

Condescending .I don’t know who trains the staff but whoever answered my call talk to me like I were a child.I wanted to know about the costs and warranties etc for replacing a hard drive on my iMac with an solid state drive. . The person asked about my computer memory and kind of drive. I said I had 4 gig RAM. I was told in a deprecating manner “that’s your memory not your drive” . But I wasn’t finished so I said I had 2TB hard drive and had ‘High Sierra’ operating system...but she interrupted me and sent me to check my computer ‘about this mac’. Unfortunately my computer is slow ( hence the need for a new SSD) and it took a while for the info to pop on my screen.... indeed it was 1 1TB drive. Not 2So she continued to be impatient with me.... well you get the idea.They may be good about repairs and may be certified by Apple but I am not going to find out. I’m no expert about computers and perhaps I was slow replying to questions or not precise enough..... but customer service is key for all small businesses

This family owned business, has been keeping our fleet of video and photography macs running well into their legacy years at very reasonable prices. They are quick and cost effective and I recommend them.Allan Joyner
