We have tried a 3 years old ballet program. I feel very disappointed - the classes are only 30 min long, they are basically only running with ribbons there. No choreography basics. The kids are supervised by teenagers.I actually hate the fact, that we have paid for this such a high price ($250 for 10 classes, 30 min long). If you you are looking for a dance school for your child that is actually teaching them something, I would very recommend Universe dance school and Ottawa Dance Academy ( for the same price). I would advice to stay away from this school, because I felt that the money was taken and no work has been done. Very poor program.

My daughter and I love Selina's Studio. She's been going here for the past 2.5 years for ballet and has just recently added tap. The friendly, dedicated and hard working staff always welcome us with a smile and the teachers know everyone's names. I would definitely recommend this family run business for anyone thinking of putting their child in ballet/tap/dance or music. The children's smiles say it all!Selina's Studio is definitely a star in our community!

My son just finished a week of camp at Selina's and I cannot say enough great things about this studio.This was his first experience in a musical theatre and they made it a fantastic one.Staff is friendly and professional.

Selina's Dance studio is a perfect place for children to express themselves through dancing, singing, and acting. This have given my child better opportunities than anywhere else we have been. There is no pressure or competitiveness - every child is a star! I appreciate the family-run atmosphere, caring teachers and all staff. Thank you!

My daughter has been taking jazz here since they first opened. She loves this studio and all her teachers. She has also taken acro and has enjoyed a couple of summer camps. Salina and the rest of her staff are very upbeat and pleasant to be around. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

My daughters have been dancing at this studio for 8 plus years. The studio has allowed them to grow and become confident dancers . I can not say enough about the Choreographers, not only do they teach and guide the students, they offer a family-like atmosphere that is encouraging and motivating. I would highly recommend this studio

The teaching is conducted behind doors, without transparence and openness until once-a-year performance… The owner is kind, but you are told to leave the building n wait outside the studio during the sessions. It is a kind of secrecy operation, interesting if this were your only and last choice.

At Selina’s Studio the staff always ensures that we are greeted when arriving and leaving the studio. I especially enjoy taking my 3-year-old son to the Parent and Me Dance Class, which explores movement in a fun environment!
