What a cool little find! My wife and I were looking for something we hadn't tried yet and found the 1st St Food Hall on Google. I love the cozy vibe and the fact there were quite a few interesting choices. We tried the food from Saffron Street. It was good and just right for our appetites. Then we had dessert from Alforno just steps across from Saffron Street. Again, delicious and perfect!There ought to be more places like 1st St Market and Food Hall in Calgary.

Nice place for a date evening. Lots of restaurants and such a beautiful place to enjoy the food and chats. Will definitely visit again but the Indian restaurant is great there.

Had freshly made mushroom pasta with garlic knots. The serving size was generous and the pasta tasted amazing.

Lots of options to chose from in a great location for downtown lunch, high end kiosk or food court style. I've always enjoyed the 1st St vibe on a nice summer day, good pubs, and now this food market that you can also grab a pint at. I decided on pasta and it was great, I missed the fried chicken spot, my wife said it's hiding a bit on the south side, I'll have to try it next.

We tried the Pav Bhaji from Saffron and the Tagliatelle from Pasta La Mano.The Pav Bhaji was great! It definitely has a kick to it so if you’re not a fan of spicy food, this dish may not be for you.The tagliatelle was cooked to perfection and the sauce to pasta ratio was on point. I must say, I really want to be selfish and keep this place a secret. Its truly a hidden gem, as I haven’t heard of it in almost a decade in Calgary. The food was great only second to the actual environment which opens up into a park. Lots of venues to choose from and a fantastic place for a working lunch. It’s definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Cool place. Had no idea it existed until tonight. Great selection of different food items to choose from. There are many options. Food tasted great and from friends who have had dishes from every place, every option tastes amazing. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Top shelf nomnomnom. Tons of variety to choose from. Mall food court convenience but fine dining flavour. There’s also a bar and an outdoor seating area with access to a beautiful park. Bring a frisbee and thrown one at a stranger. Might get a punch in the face or even a new friend.
