Not sure why the woman at the reception desk feels the need to speak to people so loud and aggressively. She could speak in a normal tone and still be heard.

I’ve been having issues with the home for a couple of months now… a resident has been harassing my mom daily with death threats and death comments and rude comments… (in Italian) my mom calls the office almost daily and I’ve been calling and now emailing about this issue. The solutions to this issue have not and will not resolve this as the resident is of sound mind and keeps doing it! It has gotten to the point it is effecting my mothers health and myself. I have gone to head office with the issue and nothing. I’m soo frustrated! It is soo sad that the elderly have to live in these conditions. All homes are the same… my mom is in a wheelchair chair with Parkinson’s and the other resident is mobile… the solutions are benefiting the resident harassing my mom! My mom has made a lot of friends there… She doesn’t want to move… I don’t know what else to do….

Horrendously disappointing that family members received vaccine when Frontline workers for CMHA are quietly waiting for their vaccine..hope NDP does ensure investigation takes place...really shameful that this has happened...a big blemish on this place

My aunt is currently in palliative care and I have to say that I was saddened to see her suffering in pain. This is NOT supposed to happen. End of life care should be different. My cousins have had to keep asking for pain management increases. They are missing doses and while I was there as a visitor, one of the nurses asked ME to give my aunt her pills when she wakes up. That is intolerable and dangerous. She is writhing in pain when she shouldn't be. As nice as some of the staff are with my family, the doctor was insensitive, with no bedside manner at all.

This Long-Term Care Home is an excellent facility. It is in a good location, properly equipped, very well maintained, and the meals are very good. Moreover, the staff are truly caring, accommodating and helpful, professional and always attentive to the needs of their residents. I highly recommend this LTC Home.

I had my 2nd semester nursing clinicals here and my pre-grad Placment as well. I felt very comfortable at Villa Leonardo everyone adresses me by my name not a student" the staff is very friendly management smiles and the residents are wonderful the culture of the facility is great and I must say the food looked absolutely delicious."

What I like the most is that there is a culture of respect for all including those residents who have serious physical and mental disability. Service is also excellent

I honestly don’t know what these others are complaining about. My mom has been here for a month and she is a different person. They are so living and caring and treat the residents like family. This is the most amazing place and the staff are awesome!!!! My mom was so bad at home that all she did was cry and now she is flourishing. She is so happy and always laughing. Thank you to the staff especially ville mare for taking care of my angel.

We had a short experience with this place and it was a wonderful one mostly because of a nurse name “Kamal” at the 7th floor who is very responsible and caring person.Because of the great care received from this nurse and the overal experience I would recommend Villa Leonardo Gambin. :)
