Massive show room with endless selection of wood and gas fireplaces. Somethn for everyone's taste and budget. Also have wood pellet stoves and bbqs there worth there weight in gold once you try it!!

Horrible sales manager. I believe his name is Tauria. Sold us all the wrong parts for our fireplace and we had to go return them twice. I have no idea how he still has a job let alone is a manager when he doesn't know what he is selling. I had great past experiences with this company but not with this manager this time.

Bought a Vermont Castings from Bryon, beauty stove. The only reason I shop here is for the free ice cream. I got some free Mr. Noodles once, so shop here and get free stuff. And fire stove whatever’s nice too.

Byron was a big help in deciding what type of stove to purchase, very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He also provided contacts for instillation and the one we used was excellent also.

Our experience with Northern Heating and fireplaces was less than adequate. We ordered a piece for a fireplace, was first told no they don’t exist. The employee said, I have to go and unload a truck. Meanwhile, my husband stayed and looked in his book and found the item we required. Employee returned and said ok, but we have to order it from factory and it will take a month. My husband said ok to the wait and the price. A month later, we were told the part was in Edmonton and would come on the next truck. Two weeks later, still no notification. I went in, and spoke to the employee and was told he couldn’t find it but would find out about it and get back to me. He never called. I called back, was told it was in Edmonton and would be shipped either the next day or at the latest 2 days. Called 3 days later and was told it should be noon. Went in, no part. Finally gave up and ordered it ourselves from another store in Calgary.
