Best Western Plus Mont-Laurier

Good place for snowmobilers. They have a dedicated lighted snowmobile parking fitted with alarm systems and security cameras. They also have a huge parking lot to accommodate trucks and trailers. Even if the Hotel is being renovated it is a quiet place. The snowmobile trail is about 500 meters away which you can ride to from the hotel.

Clean room. Comfy bed. Grab and go breakfast was great. Staff was super accommodating.During a cross Canada road trip we just needed a place to get a good nights sleep. We were so luck to find this place. We would stay there again 100%.

Clean, comfortable, and very quiet room. Staff were very accommodating. Continental breakfast was only served until 930am and I woke up late, but the staff were very accommodating and reopened the kitchen so I could at least have cereal and yogurt. Front of the building was being renovated but I could not hear that from my room. Wifi worked great. Bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, two soaps, makeup remover wipe, hair dryer, and shower cap. TV in the room with basic cable and the option to purchase additional channels. The bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows were ok.

We stayed in room 209. Overall, this was a clean and cozy place. Compared to other places, the breakfast menu was plentiful and the quality was good. Especially the elevator was impressive. Thank you to Alexandra for providing us with a quick and caring service.

Clean & modern with good working wifi....but the first room had a collapsed mattress, so uncomfortable....test your mattress here asap! It was impossible to get either rooms we were in to a comfortable temperature, a/c did not cool the room. The bath fan didn't work and the King suites have no tub or microwave but very spacious rooms.

The personnel was quite welcoming and helpful, but to be frank, that's where the good part ends. The beds were really not good, couldn't sleep at all. Felt every single, old and tired springs in the mattress. We could hear the waterworks running throughout the night, and there was broken tiles in the shower. The cherry on top was the complementary continental breakfast. The saddest scrambled eggs I have ever seen, bland as can be, potatoes so undercooked that 1 in 3 was still crunchy in the middle, and flacid, lukewarm turkey bacon that recalled a slice of rubber, and it was at the peak of breakfast hour, which they only serve between 6 and 9. I would recommend relocating the staff to a better establishment, as they are clearly the far better part of the experience.

New hotel, quiet , spacious rooms. Staff were helpful and professional. Mattress was comfortable. There are bicycle trails and many restaurants nearby.

Nice, clean and pretty new (or well-maintained) Good breakfast, very nice staff.I removed a star because, in the summer, it almost impossible to sleep with the noise of A/C window unit, and we were staying on the ground floor, so we were not keen on keeping the patio door open, although the grounds are under camera surveillance. Now, this is for the staff: you can't tell your clients that there is no coffee in the morning at 8:30 am because of lack of cups! You just can't. Just run over to the dollar store and get some. And then, how can a Best Western run out of coffee cups? In any case, this should not discourage you from coming here. The staff and people in Mont Laurier are so nice and obliging!

We were a family of 3 with a 4 year old daughter. Was for a quick overnight stay. First the good.... The hotel itself was really nice. The staff was extremely friendly and always had a smile. Great indoor pool, my 4 year old absolutely loved it. The breakfast was really good and was all your.standard continental items (cereal, bagels, toast, pastries, yougurt) but also included 2 hot items (western omelette and waffles). Served 6:30am - 10am on saturday. Now the bad... The room was a big disappointment...especially as we were staying as corporate guests...the airconditioner/fan was so loud tbat it kept our daughter up all night, the beds were rock hard and the pillows were a weird size making your neck at a weird angle. Overall will still definitely stay again when in the area. Was still overall a great stay.
