So brother and sister first of all Ramdan Mubarak to all. I know it doesn't matter for some of you but we are here to save some money and get some good quality stuff. So I went to Bangla Bazar first time today to buy Somobsa Sheet, packet of 50. I got surprised when they charged me almost 16 cad for 2 packets as compared to I brought one day before with Madina Halal meat and grocery ( 12 cad). I am not sure about the rate of other stuff, but almost 4 cad difference. I am sure I am not going to this store again. Hope it will save some of your money.

I would give them negative stars if I could. No customer service, zero recognition, sky high bad attitude and not friendly. They don't acknowledge your presence and if you say something they don't reply back. They don't say hello and don't thank you. So I will go buy my things from somewhere else now. I'm never going there. We try to support local businesses but they don't seem to be respectful.

Very poor customer service. Never saw a welcoming face or recognition. Instead they could have self serve payment system to save cost. Some items are overpriced

This store has a good collection of big fishes, but not much of green vegetables. We bought quite a bit of fishes and asked for a box to carry but they had only one service provider at that moment. Based on her instructions, looked for a box but couldn’t find anywhere. Was really disappointed with this level of service. There were other customers were asking me if I worked there as they were also looking for help.

Visited once when I moved to Calgary. They charged me 9.99lb for beef year ago where other grocery stores selling 4.99-5.99lb that time. I don't know if that was a mistake or not but never went back there again.

Very nice place for Banhladeshi and Indian Bengali foods in Calgary NE. It is much cleaner now but still that stink from their open butcher shop at the back end of the store is unmistakable. Just for the sake of clarity I am not Bengali but I do buy those huge Rohu and Katla fishes. Their veggie selection has improved a lot. Prices are usually a little bit on higher side but overall a good place for bengali grocery.

I wouldn't even give 1 star.The owner and staff have forgotten how to be kind and humble to the people who are making their business work by coming into their store. Horrible customer service, horrible attitudes and everything is overpriced. I would suggest everyone to go to Calgary Produce instead of this place.To the owner- Don't forget where you've come from and humble yourself before it's too late.
