We visited after two years with fond memories, however, something has changed. The service was lovely but the food was a disappointment. The desserts were not edible and I believe made from a box, they had a funny taste. The breading on the chicken and appetizer were both thick and cardboard like and the oil burnt. The food had little flavor. I suggested they take another look, maybe taste, what they are serving. It's too bad. We definitely won't be back after going 2 times when they first opened.

We went here based on the Google reviews and I can't say how wrong they were. We walked in and immediately the hostess assigned us a table.... In the middle of the way between the kitchen and all the other people in the restaurant. Requested to be moved and we're given a better table. We had white wine which was very nice and we decided to try the ribs and the fried chicken... We were after all in a southern kitchen. First of all... The plate of full rack of ribs is $46 and to add chicken (3 chicken legs) was an extra $16 - FOR SOUTHERN FOOD IN A SOUTHERN CUISINE RESTAURANT!!!! The meal arrived and even before we could start we noticed that the amount of fries was less than a handful on a $60 plate of food so we decided to order more which meant another less than a handful for $6. When I tried to get a piece out of the ribs I couldn't even get the knife through. Half of the rack was really dried and tasted like it was reheated... Same goes for the chicken which was nothing special either. I let the waitress know and she replaced it with a better one. In the end we were extremely unsatisfied with the quality of the food. Service and ambience were great but the food was VERY DISSAPOINTING. There are much better places in town for southern cuisine. We found the cost benefit of our meal was unbalanced. We will never go back and wouldn't recommend this to anyone... Take your money to much more worth it places!

The food was overpriced for what it was - we ordered the chicken tacos, ceviche and nachos and none of the food was anything special. We couldn't believe the nachos - $12 for a single later of chips with cheese and salsa. We pointed out how ridiculous it was to the server and he brought another plate for free which still didn't feel worth the money. We also ordered a few of the margaritas and they definitely weren't 2oz as advertised on the menu. Generally very disappointed with our visit and won't go back again!

This place is pretty pricey, but thats usual for seafood. I went here with my family and ordered the scallops, which were absolutely delicious! However, my other family members order the crab and the seafood paella and were unimpressed, hence the docking of a couple stars. Also, the restaurant was way too hot to be comfortable.

We celebrated a significant family event at Rosie's this summer and were very disappointed. The service was terrible: exceptionally long waits for each course, dry, rather bland dishes (in particular the calamari and shrimp) and fruit flies in the margaritas! The restaurant was not crowded but there was no explanation or apology for the slow, inexperienced service. I have written to the management several times and have not received a response. This is no way to treat your customers. I will not recommend Rosie's to anyone.

Everything seemed pretty standard. Had chicken and waffles. Great batter, bone in chicken was a little awkward. Flavor was great. Drinks were good. Service was average. I'm sure there are better places to eat. I probably wouldn't recommend it. Overall an unmemorable experience.

Five stars for the nice atmosphere and fantastic customer service. The food was on the bland side. Almost like the kitchen ran out of spices to use. I have had to reach for pepper/salt shakers a few times. I usually never do that. The choices of the pairing" were interesting but didn't really go together. Scallops were amazing

My experience was really good. From the minute we walked in we were attended to promptly by attentive and friendly staff. I found the food delicious. Definitely bold in flavours and artistically presented. It's nice to find a restaurant with a menu that is out of the ordinary.The portion sizes were very generous and I could tell that the dishes were put together with pride. I feel that the prices are justified. I didn't find it expensive, especially for the diversity of ingredients and the portion size. The atmosphere is clean and classy. Bright and vibrant. I realize that sometimes people have negative experiences and are sometimes hard to please. I'm a very particular person in most cases too, but I couldn't fault the restaurant or the staff. We will definitely return.

I'm not sure whether or not it was due to a new chef or perhaps just an error, but the fried chicken I had last Friday at this restaurant was by far the worst I have ever had.. The chicken was encrusted in a dry flavourless crust that I likened to stale crust on bread. Having scratched it with my finger nail, it produced a sort of powder (a result of the dryness). There were no spices / no deep fried goodness / and in the end I, I pealed off the crust and just ate the chicken inside. This was overwhelmingly disappointing. I even made sure to tell my waiter how disappointed I was (which is against my usual character). The rest of the food (mash potatoes / sauce / vegetables) was good.. My girlfriends dinner was also pretty good. Our entry (calamari) was a bit to flaky for my liking. She did not really like it either.. None the less, we wouldn't go back. Very unfortunate.
