Rude staff, turning away travellers in need of a bathroom when everything else is closed.

Very clean and well-furnished. The staff were nice. Our room was uncomfortably hot though.

Tilley hotel is always a good time. The service is good. Bar is older but is well maintained. The food at the bar was amazing. Great pizza. Look forward to returning there every year.

If you are a person of color stay away.My brother and I had an episode there years ago where we walked in with 2 local girls who grew up in the small community (our cousins) My brother and I are black and both girls are Caucasian. Upon entering the bar the environment was immediately hostile a group of gentlemen seated in the corner clearly did not like our presence there and it wasn't hard to tell why. We were never served and within 5mins the waitress came and requested that we leave as the locals didn't want us there and there were a couple guys wanting to fight us. As a person of color who grew up around many of the small towns in alberta this will always be in my head when I hear the name of this town...kindly a gentleman driving down the #1 who will never forget.
