Hutch Cafe
The food is delicious and match the high price point. It’s definitely meant for the high income earner on a high food budget. Everything is healthy, fresh and of superior quality. We were definitely full on our meals for the day and could have gone without dinner later on. LOL

As soon as you walk into this place , you feel that luxurious cozy atmosphere . With gorgeous interior .We had the weekend brunch option . Food was just amazing . Unique and tasty.Great friendly service . This is suitable for small groups maximum 5. Nice surrounding in downtown . Has parking .

Came here for brunch and had the hazelnut latte and for food, tried the Cobb salad and duck leg.The duck was very tender with a nice crispy skin and could certainly eat another one. The Cobb salad was more standard and perhaps could use some corn or micro greens (also was not a fan of the blue cheese but some people might).The place carries a nice relaxing atmosphere and the service was friendly. Will be back again to try some of their other items!

I have been here many times and have always love it. This is an afternoon tea set that I had wanted to try. It comes with a savory tray and a sweet tray. I would say most of the treats are pretty good. The sandwiches however is on the dry side. But hey it's Calgary, everything dry in lightening speed. They do close at 4pm though, so spare enough time.

It was my pleasure to visit the Hutch Cafe in Downtown Calgary. This cafe was very elegant and calm. The ambience and decor was British style. The food and drinks were very high quality and the service was excellent. It is a good choice to have lunch gathering or afternoon tea with friends. Will definitely go back again.

Cafe right by the Peace Bridge in Calgary, we were lucky to arrive during a quiet patch as there isn’t a huge amount of places to grab a quick bite on this patch of town. But it got much busier half-way through our food. I went for a Signature Soda and Crispy Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Signature Iced Tea along with the Avocado & Halloumi on Toast with Poached Eggs, both with Fries as well.The drinks were nice and refreshing, although could have had more flavour, it was very subtle for both of them. But great that they were using metal straws. The food was really delicious though! The chicken was so juicy and tender with a perfect coating, the poached eggs had perfectly runny yolks, the halloumi lovely and golden and the fries crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside… wonderfully seasoned too. Service was good, although it slowed a little as the place got busier, which is to be expected. They could do with having a wider selection of cold drinks.

Went for brunch, loved the braised beef cheek, meat was so tender, very well seasoned. Had London fog, couldn’t really taste the tea, mainly just the syrup flavor, wouldn’t recommend that. Croque Madame sandwich and mocha were good. The place has good vibe, kinda funky.

This brunch spot has become a favorite of mine, thanks to its delicious food and beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The menu offers a wide range of tasty dishes. We had steak frits and salmon croissant, both are very good. The inviting ambiance and tasteful decor create a serene space to enjoy your meal. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience. If you're seeking a brunch spot that combines great food and a tranquil atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed! Almost forgot to mention their coffee is a must try.

Hutch Cafe
We really wanted to love the place, just because it is so close to where we live. They served us burnt food. When we pointed it out, even when it was blatantly obvious, we were told they could cut the burnt pieces off. We said 'no'. We wanted a new plate of food. They brought back the food and it looked as if they just cut the burned pieces off. The service was very poor. We wanted to give the place another chance but both service and food very poor on our second visit. I really hope someone makes some changes because the place is in a great location. People expect more these days.
