Hui Lau Shan

We wanted to sit at the larger sofa but the server told us it’s for bigger groups. We ordered jumbo mango chewy ball. The ball in the centre was not a complete sphere; the top part was missing. There’s mango sauce, mango pudding, chewy balls, mango, mango ice, and the ball in the centre (it’s not ice cream, I’m not sure what it is). The taste was pretty good, sweet but not too sweet. We paid a bit over 18 dollars after taxes and tips.

Mango season calls for a sweet mango dessert. Tasty and refreshing, this is the large size. However the mochi balls were too tough (under cooked?).Hopefully it will be cooked better next time.Note: They provide a complimentary dessert for reviews but did specify 5 star reviews which is not the most ethical.

Very beautiful and delicious desserts here. You first walk into a gorgeous pink floral themed cafe and are greeted by beautiful waitresses.I like their outfit as it is quite cute.You then have a huge variety of desserts to select. You'll see my photos with the 3 desserts. They all have a well-balanced of sweetness, texture, and coolness. I'd recommend coming here to try.

It’s a really awesome place, very cute inside. We waited patiently for two years for it to be opened, but it was very worth the wait. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the homemade mango ice cream. I would recommend it to anyone that likes mango. Prices are reasonable and ambience is far better than the other Asian dessert places in Richmond.

we ordered a jumbo mango chewy ball and it was not worth it at all. we waited 30 minutes for our order. the mango was sour and not sweet even though it’s mango season. the slush had no flavour and the ice cream tasted funny. the chewy balls were undercooked as well. the jello at the bottom tasted like plastic. overall terrible experience as the dessert itself was $17 which is extremely pricey for the amount of mango given.

Not promising at all. It is not worth the wait.I must say that the newly opened location is decorated very nicely! All modern and cute. That’s where the 1 star came from, But other than a very nice ambience, everything else is disappointing.We went during a slow time. No line ups. But surprisingly, we waited an hour for our order. AN HOUR! I was keeping my cool because I know it is just their soft opening. But I don’t think an hour wait was a fair waiting time especially when they’re fully staffed and no other people waiting in line. When I finally went at the counter and followed up our order, we did not even hear an apology.Our order finally arrived incomplete, when followed up, again no apologies and made us wait for another 10 minutes.The desserts were not worth the wait either. I’ve had better mango desserts and definitely better service somewhere. Not recommended.

Great drinks and nice environment! Ordered mango & coconut w/ aloe jelly and mango delightful trio and sweet paste w/ peanut & sesame topping. Recommended!

Super clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. We ordered some mango specialized desserts. We were seated right away despite the store being quite busy. This is a great place for a weekend hang out!
