I went to Park of the St.Lawrence with my family and friends, thinking they are dog friendly. But it turn out they are not. when we arrived they did not inform us that dogs were not allowed in certain areas. when we were unpack our stuff to bring to a table they told us no dogs, so they showed us the area where dogs can be, a very small area where people are camping and a boat launching doc, with no tables or anything. after letting out dogs play in the water, some of the staff came and told us that dogs can only be in a boat launching doc which is very small and with very polluted water. other people their with dogs could not take their dogs anywhere except the boat launching doc. i have had a terrible experience at Park of the St.Lawrence. if you have a puppy/dog do not bring them to park of the St.Lawrence.

The park isn’t bad. Very open sites and I prefer a bit more privacy. Lineups for bathrooms everyday are discouraging. The beaches in the campgrounds are horrible but the bigger beaches that face the river are better; they are just very crowded with all kinds of people who don’t seem to be comfortable. I feel this park is to Montreal what Sandbanks is to Toronto. Checked it out, probably won’t go back. You should check it out though.

Love this place. Fantastic washroom and shower facilities, well maintained. Nice camping spots. If you are into carp fishing these waters are full of it. But need to find your spot.

Beautiful park. Clean washrooms and showers (hard water though). Friendly staff. Lots to do and see... Horseshoes, volleyball, soccer, swimming, campfires. Park was quiet after 11 and didn't wake up til 8:30.

My brother has severe health problems and is bed-ridden. On good days he likes to sit by the water for 20 minutes or so. We were told we had to pay for a day pass to do this. I can understand charging for camping, but just for sitting for a few minutes to enjoy the scenery? This is very disappointing.

Nice park on the St Lawrence River but be aware of noisy campers with barking dogs.

We just drove and stopped in some spots. The beaches looked nice to spend a day or two. It's a peaceful place, lots of things to do; walk, bike, fish, swim, kayak. Close to fast-food places and big stores. I really liked it. Just for driving through the park and park for the day, we paid CAD$19 for 3 adults.
