The original, was amazing. The change of ownership has dragged this company down to substandard pastries, coffee & music. The chocolate pastry was a badly made plain one that had been opened up on the bottom and a chocolate paste was then inserted ???? Really ???? The coffee was mediocre. The staff were pleasant.The original was an experience, this was too, a really disappointing experience.Try JJB for better coffeeSadly, I would not recommend stopping here

Im an avid fan of this chain and awesome coffee joint, its outdoor seating on a sunny day instantly grabbed my attention and I just had to swing by. The vibe is super cool and gave me nostalgia of being back in Rome or a cute little European-style Cafe.As such, I didn't hesitate one bit to pickup a 'To Good to Go' app' haul of goodies, and boy did I get a surprise! A filo'loaded Pastry army equipped to take down anyone, fantastic value and great, fresh products made from natural and minimum ingredients. I managed to pickup:Banana bread chocolate Loaf x 2Pan au ChocolatChocolate CakeThe Loaf slices were also HUGE, super moist and super yum. Everything tastes very fresh and a lot of love put in from their extremely friendly staff.This is a really nice joint in very close to the Waterfront and always has something awesome for everyone. Definetely recommend and will always return!Support local businesses!

Nice little coffee nook. Free water, good food which they heat up for you (wraps, etc). Good tea, haven’t tried the coffee. Perfect place for an early breakfast.

Best chai I’ve ever had (with oat milk) and yummy chocolate cookie! Staff was super friendly. Place is big (for my stroller) and clean!

Good cafe food, tea was great but service was pretty poor. The place was aesthetically pleasing and nice jazz music maintained a good feel but the bathroom was disgusting - it obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. On arrival, two staff were quibbling with a customer about an extra 5 cents that his coffee cost after some alterations. We were ignored during this, even though there were two people there and clearly could have started our order. Once the customer in front of us had sat down, the staff continued to talk to each other for social purposes and we waited until they were done to place our order. Huge tray of samples at the till wasn't pointed out to us or signed, so I asked if they were available for tasting. The location is amazing, shame the staff were less than great.

Really friendly and hard-working staff there. They also make a pretty good Spanish latte, which I have found hard to find amongst coffee shops that do do one.Definitely a coffee place to go to in downtown.

Randomly came into this cafe because my boyfriend saw the sign for lemonade while walking by. The baristas were really nice and friendly. I did not get the name of the guy who took our order but he made a great recommendation and I ended up trying the new coconut cold brew and really enjoyed it!
