So grateful for Guelph Naturopathic Medical Clinic.I booked an Appt.with Naturopathic Dr. Matt Gowan as a last result because I was told I had acid reflux which was affecting my voice as a singer. I was prescribed medication to take with no other information about the condition. I wanted to learn more and educate myself. To my surprise, at my 1st appt., I was given guidance and suggestions on a few, easy, diet changes. A super delicious breakfast shake recipe, which, I now cannot live without, and in less than 3 months I am off the medication. I feel great, and my voice is back!!

This has been a great experience for both me and my wife. The staff have been amazingly pleasant to talk to and incredibly informative. They have completely change my view on my own body and how to better take care of my self. They have also changed the way i look at food, portions, cravings and everything around that. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

I’ve always struggled finding a doctor that would actually pay attention to my health that was until I met Matt. This guy truly knows how to listen to somebody and digs deep to uncover multiple solutions that will work for you! I have Gilbert’s Syndrome and recently discovered I have a lot of foods that my body is sensitive to and Matt was able to lessen my symptoms entirely with herbs and guidance on what foods I should avoid. It will take no time at all for Matt to give you the help that you need as long as you are applying his recommendations and looking after yourself. Thank you Matt for everything!

I have struggled with acid reflux and IBS since I was in high school. I have had annual endoscopies and taken daily PPI's for over 15 years to control the situation, but doctors could never really tell me the cause of the issues. After seeing their reviews, I decided to reach out to the Guelph Naturopathic Medical Clinic and am so glad that I did! Dr. Matt helped me to identify the specific food sensitivities that I have, and only two weeks of avoiding these foods significantly relieved my symptoms. I am so pleased with my experience with Dr. Matt Gowan-ND for my GI issues. He was very knowledgeable of Gastro issues and set me up with testing, a plan and follow up and always accessible for questions which I found a nice surprise! All my appts were done via Zoom and email- worked really well. Within 5 months I went from daily GI discomfort, dizziness, joint aches, and anxiety to feeling like myself again- Bowels and tummy doing great and I feel like I can rely on my body again and can make plans again. I have worked very hard at all his suggestions which is key to your success. I will continue to follow up as needed with Matt and highly recommend this very nice clinic of reception staff that are friendly and always easy to help you!

I went to Dr. Vicky Weiler after trying to resolve some digestive issues with my GP for the better part of a year. She recommended a few tests and clearly walked me through what the results signalled, as well as what long and short term adjustments I needed to make. She was extremely caring and helpful, giving recommendations to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Highly Recommend.I've been seeing Dr. Matt Gowen for over a year. He helped me heal GI issues and related skin issues such as eczema and psoriasis within a few weeks. Recently, when my family doctor was unable to help with an on-going stomach issue, Dr. Matt quickly identified it as a parasite and I was able to get it resolved. He is extremely knowledgeable but most importantly, he listens and cares.

Matt is very knowledgeable!! He also takes the time to explain things and answer any questions you may have.
