Sports have been part of almost my entire life. And because of the nature of the sports I've been doing (in competition, or physically very demanding), and because I moved a lot, I've been training in a lot of gyms: in different places in France, in Vancouver, in Montreal. SPAR Training is APART from all the gyms I've been.1- The mindset. This is something very specific to SPAR Training. You will train hard. Like, really hard. But, unlike over gyms where you feel like you have given everything during a session and can give no more, two things will happen when you train at SPAR. 1: the coach will be here, like literally pushing you. 2: you will look around you and see the other people training, your partners. Like you, they have given everything. But they keep going and pushing. And no one quits. This creates an environment that will give you this extra push, this extra motivation that you didn't know was existing inside you, and that will keep you pushing beyond your own limits. And what happens when you train like that, being motivated in actually pushing your limits? Your mental get stronger.2- No ego. It's not unusual to see people just showing off in gyms. Because the way you train and the way people train at SPAR, pushing hard and beyond your limits, it will make you think twice about your attitude. You will forget about your ego. And don't get me wrong: all of this, like training hard, pushing your limits, may sound like a boy's gym thing. It's not! Boys and girls are training here. And make no mistake. Every girl training here can beat your a** any time, given how hard everyone trains at SPAR.3- The programs. One thing really hard when training is consistency. Let's be honest, it sometimes gets boring, when you do the same thing, or there is not enough variety in the exercises. This is the other thing very specific about SPAR. There are different sessions being offered, depending on what you want to train: upper body training, lower body, full body, HIIT, athletic conditioning, metabolic conditioning to test and train your cardio beyond what you can imagine... Here's the thing: each session is different. It changes every day. There is never the same circuit. It's always different. And that makes a big difference when it comes to consistency in training because you are training differently every single time.So, is it worth it? You can find other gyms cheaper than SPAR Training. But from my experience, the way you train here, the mindset here, the true dedication of every coach and the owner, Kevin, the variety of equipment, the cleanliness, everything you get here, actually make each class worth 10 times what you get in other gyms. You will train hard, you will enjoy it, you will s*ck it up beyond your limits, and become a better version of yourself, both physically and mentally.

SPAR offers a variety of classes, fit for all levels. The gym is kept very clean. The coaches take the time to show/teach you how to do the exercises correctly. They commend the progress you've made as well as encourage you to stay motivated and continue pushing through until the end!
