If you are looking for a caring home for your loved one pass this one by as it is totally agency run having zerocontinuity of care. I am sitting here in my wheelchair this morning feeling totally defeated smelling of urine . I am amazed that this company is still allowed to operate. If you are looking for compassion walk -on likewise if you're looking for neglect this is the right place. As resident if you're looking for REM sleep or any quality of sleep this is not possible as the lights are kept on full power all night call Bells are not answered. I could go on ...Clearly this conglomerate's main goal is collecting rent money .

Managment of care homes is a disaster covid brought to light the lack of compassion this company has i have family in one of there homes and have been hung up on by the administrator and the d.o.c. several times, phone calls dont get returned, overall terrible company who cant run long term care homes. Wish this had negative stars they dont even deserve 1

Terrible company. I've asked twice what the wage is and twice no one responded, then I get an email from South ridge saying they reject my enquiry. Any company that refuses to tell what they pay their prospective employee is a company to stay away from! It's no surprise they have an extremely low rating! I can only imagine how they treat residents........

Aided and abetted by the Ford government this company with one of the worst track records in the province is now trying to force itself on a heritage neighborhood in Port Hope. The citizens there are fighting to stop them - again. They will remember this in the next election.

After watching the Marketplace episode on abuse in your long term care homes. If I could give ZERO stars I would. As an assistant caretaker for my father, this worries me and infuriates me. If you can't provide proper care, maybe you shouldn't be around.

Cornwall - Nepotism, bullying upper management with a gang-mentality, inept Regional Director and Executive Director, Director of Care, and Activity Coordinator!!! Company does not care about staff or residents...just profits! Would never send a loved one there, or work there! Just disgusting! DISGUSTING!

I have been disgusted by the indifference, greed and hostility to families that the company demonstrated during the first wave of Covid19. As their residents suffered and died under their so-called care, the company continued to deny, bank their profits, and demand payments and removal of belongings by devastated families. To this day they have not apologize for a single death among their patients or staff.

My Mom passed away in Jan 2023. We had monies from her account, overpayment of her billing due to her passing owed to us. We have not received the funds owed to us yet. When we contact the nursing home (Orchard Villa) directly, they keep changing the date that the cheque will be sent out. It does not take months to send this money. Calling Southbridge directly does nothing, as they do not return phone calls. My father is elderly and on a fixed income. He needs the money owed to him returned as soon as possible. This whole situation has caused our entire family more distress during an already stressful, and emotional time.
