Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton

Have been here before for Prime rib Thursday and it has been great. However this last time I'm not sure what happened but the four of us were extremely confused because not only were we not asked how we wanted our meat,what we recieved was absolutely strange meat! All of our orders were uniform shaped and did definitely not seems to be prime rib at all. Furthermore the table beside us ordered Prime rib as well and it looked like the prime we had ordered previously times we've been there so not sure what the issue was but we are not sure we are you going back!!!

Love going here there dinner specials are awesome. Usually service in restaurant is great very friendly staff.

We had a nights stay in the hotel and spent the evening in the casino. All the facilities were clean and tidy. There was ample indoor and outdoor parking for free. The hotel rooms were decent for the price. The staff were accommodating. The casino had a decent selection of games. The alcohol was well priced and not watered down. There were a few undesirables in the casino, but I’m guessing that was the proximity to the train. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel 4/5- The king room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable. Limited service for some reason. This stay the vending machine, wasn’t working in the lobby. The 3rd floor vending machine was sold out. The phone in the hotel room, to connect to anything was futile and useless. Had to physically go to the restaurant. To place an order or call the hotel and casino directly.Restaurant 3.5/5- The food was ok the servers were really good. The selection was limited. Overall it wasn’t to bad.The casino 5/5- Good selection of slots, lots of tables. Very satisfied, very modern slots.Will return had a good time

The food was some of the best I’ve had, particularly the salmon. But, some servers are extremely inattentive, i.e. one at the bar with black hair tied up, and glasses. Waited over 10 minutes for a drink, as I sat on my phone completely ignored. I was busy so I didn’t realize how long I was sitting there until I got fed up that she didn’t come up to serve me. Just because I’m on my phone, doesn’t mean I don’t need a drink. Why would I come sit at the bar with no drink if I wasn’t planning on ordering one.

Went out to the Casino on a friend's idea that we try the Thursday special, ROAST BEEF, for under 10$, well we will be going every Thursday that we can. The beef was done to perfection and came with grilled green beans and gravy to die for. Only draw back is that a lot of other people found out the same idea. There was a line up to eat. But the service was swift and people were seated and fed in good time. There are other specials so go and see them, but you must go on a Thursday evening, enjoy

Rooms were okay. Not very clean and definitely not updated. Casino was okay.Location wasn't good as there was nothing around to do.For 150$ a night for a small dated room, probably won't stay here again.

Went there a few months ago to watch a show and stayed at the hotel. The service at that time was superb. This time, the room was fine but the service at the restaurant (Mid City Grill) was ok at best. Spent the night at the hotel so went to the restaurant for dinner. After we were seated, we waited for the waiter to come and take our order. Instead, the waiter sat another table and then promptly took their order first. Then sat another table and did the same before coming to us. So instead of receiving our food first, we had to wait even longer to get our food. The next morning, we went there for breakfast and there was only one waitress working. Another waitress from the floor came and seated us and ended up serving us instead. Definitely a very big difference between the last time we were here to now.

Went to the Dirty Deeds DDC show and then had dinner in the casino. I felt the venue was actually a good size and set up for the show, there was good lighting and an open area in front of the stage for anyone to go.The drinks were $9 for a single highball or beer, which I thought was pretty steep. And I found out afterwards that earplugs were available at the front entrance if you ask (I normally don’t use them but this show was LOUD) but they were not offered or advertised at all which made the show harder to enjoy.The food at the restaurant was good, nothing special but hit the spot after a few drinks. Our waitress was super nice and was a great server, thank you! The drinks were the same price at the restaurant.I would suggest better signage, even to show the concert venue versus the casino as it was very vague. Good show overall and would most likely attend another, but won’t be planning on eating or drinking much while there.
