Beautifully done backyard!Highly recommended! I would hire again. We had a large deck for outdoor dining in our backyard but wanted to replace the surrounding grass with a combination of sod and a stone patio. After discussing the project with three companies, we chose Ivy Blooms Home & Garden Inc. for three reasons: 1. They were first to respond, show up on-site, discuss the project, bring samples, and reach a detailed quote; 2. The owners Tyler and Sam were amiable, knowledgeable, and professional; 3. They had several ongoing projects around the Comox Valley, but they could squeeze our project near the end of the season before the winter. The crew working on our site was very courteous and professional, and they accommodated our feedback and input throughout the project. Like all outdoor projects, there was a delay due to unforeseen conditions. We decided to do a significant landscaping improvement at our home this summer. Extensive retaining walls, staircases, two patios, gardens, and other things were rebuilt as part of the project. The designer began the process by creating a comprehensive landscape plan for us that covered both buildings and plants. He also provided us with continuing assistance and product selection advice. Once construction on the actual design began, the dependable and cordial teams arrived and put in a solid 12 hours a day to ensure they met our deadlines. They took excellent care to minimize disruption to the neighbourhood, cleaning up our yard and the street each night. As the construction progressed, we soon realized how fortunate we were and how crucial it was to complete each phase on schedule. When they were required, cement trucks, bins, and other necessary equipment showed up precisely on schedule. This prevented the trucks from idling and prevented the project from running late. Everything about Ivy Blooms’ work was flawless. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. There were no unforeseen expenses. We like the contract because it was very transparent and precisely outlined each project step. Tyler and Sam did an amazing job, I am very happy with the results.
