Don and Rons Auto

This was my first experience with this shop. I received fantastic customer service from Neil. He made my problem feel like a priority and explained to me what the the issue might be. He was friendly, informative and professional. He arranged to have our school van repaired and he made sure that our school van was back on the road as fast as possible. Neil also explained to me what caused the issue and showed me the parts that were affected. I would recommend this shop to others and hope they have the same great experience that I did.

AWFUL experience, I would give zero stars if I could. Brought my car here after my fiance & father changed the tires for me. I noticed the car was shaking so I brought it in to ensure everything was okay with the tire change. Recieved a phone call hours later stating that my car was not safe to drive off of the property, needed 4 new tires and rims as my Daddy had ruined my rims" - their exact words. Spoke down to me and attempted to take advantage of me as I am a young female who clearly knows nothing about cars. I was able to contact a friend who's a mechanic

Over priced and they do some horrible work. Had my breaks done there a few months ago and they already need to be changed again. When we went to change them ourselves we saw what hack and slash work was done by Ron and Dons. They destroyed my car and it cost me $900 just for my rear breaks.Same thing happened to my pops. $1200 break job and 4 months later they already need to be changed again. I will NEVER set foot in that place again and I recommend you dont either.

Want to be overcharged more than any other place around? Here's the place to go. Got quoted LITERALLY 4x the amount than master mechanic in Barrie. Big ol' scammers here.

My exhaust fell apart while driving the kids to school and I took it immediately to Don & Ron's because they're just around the corner from me. Within an hour they called me to let me know they'd already fixed it and it cost less than a trip to the gas station. Reasonable prices and honest work have made sure they're my shop from now on.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. In terms of customer service they are absolutely terrible. Professional conduct: awful. they didn't know that they could perform a safety inspection on a vehicle without insurance on it, and I was almost refused service because the guy behind the counter is incredibly incompetent. It wasn't until the owner came out and corrected him that I was able to receive service. They quote you a job saying it's going be done within a couple of days, over a week later my vehicle still hadn't moved. Any time I asked why is there a delay, I would receive a myriad of excuses. I've been actively telling people to take their business elsewhere. If you need repair work done, definitely go somewhere else. -10/5

I have a high level of trust in these guys after 10 years of care and service for me and my family. Neil, the customer service manager, is like talking to an old friend. You can't beat small town service!

It is just around the corner from me. When I had a recent issue with my car, arrangements were made for repairs and each time, the work was done to high standards. Their mechanics are honest and alerted me to other issues that were needing attention. Thanks to their eagle eyes, I feel a lot safer when I drive.And the coffee shop is right beside them so I can go there and relax or walk 15 min to my home. NICE !

They saftied my F250 and found items that Canadian Tire missed. Highly recommended. Friendly and quick service.

Crushed my rocker panels while changing tires. Currently refusing any responsibility.After pressing the matter, they said it is impossible for a lift to cause this damage, which is a preposterous and unprofessional thing to say. Basically treating me like I'm ignorant. If I could give a less rating, I would. This is going to cost me $700 to fix.
