Emad was amazing. I told him I wanted very short, showed him a few photos of short hair I liked and he worked his magic. My hair turned out better than I imagined. I have found my new favorite hair dresser in Calgary and he is only a few shorts blocks away from my new house. Thank you Emad

Emad and his team is fabulous. Very professional and place is very clean. It doesn't surprise me that his business is built on references as anyone who goes there can't stop recommending Emad. Only caution is they don't except credit card so you need to pay by cash or debit card only. But when you see the outcome of your visit this is not a big deal. 10/10 for Hair by Emad.

I was very disappointed with the service, as my request was not met. Everything was told upfront: long hair with platinum blonde foils. However, the hairdresser doesn't understand what long or platinum blonde means. I went in to get foils in platinum blonde, to match the colour at the tips of my hair. Instead, I came out with uneven highlights on both sides and not even close to the colour I asked for. When I tried to ask why less colour was applied on one side of my head, during application, I was yelled at by the hairdresser and told that he has 30 years of experience and knows what he is doing. When I told the hairdresser that my hair is very dark and needs to be under the hair dryer for a while, once again, I was shut down and told that the product is high quality and will lift my colour quickly. In the end, I didn't get the colour I wanted. Instead, it is a caramel colour and not the platinum blonde that the rest of my hair is and both sides are unevenly distributed. His excuse is that I didn't say that my long hair is down to my waste. For someone who has been doing this for 30 years, you'd think hair that long should not be a problem to deal with.Further to this, they don't take credit and only debit or cash, which would have been nice to know ahead of time.

I'm so thrilled with my transformation at Hair by Emad. I went in without having cut my hair in about 10 years and haven't coloured it in about 20 years. Emad and his assistant (forget her name) were exceptionally professional. It's been about 4 weeks since my appointment and I am in love with my haircut and colour. I have more volume with my hair than ever before and it is so easy to style. I will be booking with Emad again for sure. Thank you so much for a great experience!!

I’ve been coming to see Emad since I was 14. I am now 28 and I still get him to cut my hair to this day because no one can do it better then him! I have fine wavy hair but I have A LOT of it and no one else thins it out and layers it like he does. When my hair grows out from my hair cuts it always still looks beautiful. Thank you Emad!

I have had so many horrible haircuts lately and thought I would try a random place. I requested a bit of the back cut to try and even out the side that had been layered too much last cut and trim my bangs and take a little weight off the top.He began to cut with a blade and no scissors first of all. He hacked at my hair and now it has gone from shoulder length to the nape of my neck! I have my Grade 6 bowl cut! He stunk of cigarette smoke and the lady there just kept saying she liked it!It didn’t matter that I hated it and am now embarrassed to go out! I am unsure how you have cut hair thirty years and didn’t listen to a word about what the customer wanted.

Today I visited Hair by Emad for the first time, it was such a great experience! Great service, amazing prices, and very friendly people! I am loving my haircut, thank you so much!

I can't thank enough to Hair by Emad's team! Our older son used its services and then we decided to bring there our younger 8-year old son who is in the wheelchair. We used to cut his hair at home until it became extremely challenging as our son requires full support, including for his head. Emad and his hair stylists not only do an excellent job, fast and easy, they are able to give a haircut whether our son is in the wheelchair, on the adapted bike, or they would transfer him into one of the barber chairs. In addition, they always show initiative and provide assistance with wheeling our son into and out of the salon as well as securing him in the vehicle. They are amazing and compassionate people, always with a smile on their faces and kindness in their hearts. It means a lot to a family like ours, it makes us feel accepted. Thank you very much!

It was my first visit to Hair by Emad in Cedarbrae today and I couldn't be happier. I got a very friendly, warm greeting when I walked in and Emad did an awesome job on my hair. He took his time, listened to all of my requests, and made sure that I was happy with my cut. In addition to that, he was very personable and went above and beyond of what I could have expected. I have found my new stylist and salon!
