Food is delicious and authentic. Went there a couple of times with some friends for the boodle fight. The amount of food is perfect for two. I went before covid and went this week. Realized they moved to Queen Mary street. Had to do a small walk but worth it. The quality is as good as before. Please update your location. Thanks!

Freshly cooked, generous proportions and authentic flavors of Philippine cuisine. Great to hangout with friends and families. Foodie enthusiasts are very much welcome who'd like to experience different food and culture. The place is quite small but the washrooms are very clean. Price range $$. I recommend the Boodle Fight options in the menu which is like a tasting menu in a big plate. And if you still have space after finishing your plate, must try dessert is the halo-halo. Service is excellent and with warm smiles.

Filipino Food with a twist. Overall, the experience is 4 stars for me but would definitely come back. Looking forward for their improvement.Pros:- The food and presentation are perfect.- The food tastes great- The place is comfy and cozy- Free Wi-Fi- Open until 10pm- Offers delivery- Food came after an hour but it was fast enough having a small staff and a lot of customersCons:- Service is not the best- Server was not as hospitable as expected given the fact it's a Filipino restaurantRecommendation:- Be more hospitable and customer service oriented

Food is always good but the service can be better. I called in booking a table for 7, they said okay and when I went in, the table was not reserved. The other concern I had was the chef and waiter not washing their hands after handling cash and dirty dish. They straight up grab the meat with their bare hands.

Price is amazing. The portion size is great. The service is decent. I ordered to combo to try every thing. The wings are amazing. The pork skewers are good too. The BBQ chicken legs are overcooked, dried. The fried pork belly is okay, but skin are tough to eat. Bit overall, I still enjoy it and will recommend people to try.

If you’re from Montreal and you’re craving for filipino food, then La Republika is a must visit! They have a boodle set up (food served in banana leaf) and the dishes are to die for. Everything that we ordered was delicious! Will definitely eat here again when I come back. Filipino food will always be top tier for me :)

First time customer I ordered through Uber. Got the platter for two and holy balls their food is excellent. Very generous portions, delicious juicy meat seasoning and the appetizers are fantastic. Everything was amazing, will have to go in person to try other stuff. It takes a little while to get ready however looking at the portions and tasting the quality, you understand why. They are serious, food from the soul. Definitely will order again and again. Thank you

9:30 is last call but we came at 9pm so its only take-out. I like their pork skewer than the rest.
