Amazing service! The owner takes great pride in working both the front and back of the business. Rod likes to get to know your project so that he can help you find what you need. Rod or his employees help you find that perfect board for your projects big or small. His lumber selection is excellent.Below is a small table done with mortise and tenon out of solid walnut from The Wood Mill.

Me and my friend went today to inquire about making a cut. The clerk was very rude, and uninterested to help which was evident by him being on his phone texting. The whole interaction from start to finish was uncomfortable, awful, and upsetting. I would not recommend going here. We didn't get the clerks name but he was maybe in his late 40s to early 50s with shoulder length hair and sunken eyes.

Did not find what I was looking for (some special melamine sheets) but they went above and beyond trying to get me some. Will defenitely keep them in my mind for all my wood needs.

Thé Wood Mill is awesome. I’ve gone a couple times to get help on what type of wood to use for my project. Rod, Chris and Mike are all more than helpful. Rod suggested poplar for my dining table and Sepele for my porch posts. Both turned out great. Everybody here cares about the customer. It’s always a pleasure to visit the store and see all the different types of wood available.

I've been purchasing excellent quality hardwoods since the 1980's when the Wood Mill was on St. Luke in Windsor. The quality of the service, milling and knowledge is second to none still from owner to owner. In a time of ready made big box store inferior wares. It is great to know one can rely on a quality wood mill that is still doing business the right old way. My wood working projects are always top of the line with the care and quality of products from the Wood Mill.

Amazing and prompt service. Great selection of domestic and EXOTIC woods. The owner is extremely respectful and helpful and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this store if you want to build custom furniture or purchase nice wood for your DIY projects and crafts.
