Aeolus Flight Academy

Hands down the best place to learn to fly and become a pilot. I obtained my PPL from Aeolus and everyone including Jake (owner) was patient with me. They do take it upon themselves to ensure you are comfortable through the entire experience and genuinely put all their effort in ensuring you master flying. Assistance is provided on every single step until you get your license. Highly recommended! Also, if you are adventurous Jake will take you up to experience aerobatics in the sky.

Amazing experience. Even though weather was too windy and gusty, Jack managed everything to take us on tour in Cessna 172 on my birthday. Believe me it was not pre planned just one call and he said yes obviously, he did not want to ruin my excitement.Harold Siu was flight instructor. Wonderful experience. My self and my wife enjoyed a lot throughout the journey. Thanks guys I really appreciate your efforts to make it happen.

Jake the instructor ,and he was my first flight instructor when started flying in Ottawa.He is very patient and knowledgeable and was the one who sent me solo for the first time! I went for an aerobatic flight tour and it was one of the most exciting things I have done in my life! Jake explained everything that was going to happen before he demonstrated a new maneuver, and he made me feel so comfortable that the nerves I had coming in were totally gone. Thank you so much for the bucket list experience!! Going upside down in a plane is amazing with you!

I've been flying with Aeolus Flight Academy sense it opened in London and have had nothing but a great experience. The owner and my instructor Jake is an absolute delight. Its been alot of fun learning to fly with Aeolus Flight Academy. If you're looking to get a recreational license or private pilot license I highly recommend this school.

I trained with Jake for my PPL. He was professional, knowledgable, friendly, and everything I would want from an instructor. He always went the extra mile to make sure I was ready for the next step in my training, whether it meant organizing paperwork to send to TC for me, or sending me resources to ensure I'd pass any required licensing exams. I'll never forget when he sent me for my first solo, thanks Jake!

I very much enjoyed my discovery flight with Aeolus. Jake and Bennett are friendly and knowledgeable. My flight over South Western Ontario was amazing and Bennett let me take the controls.

If you’re in the market for flight training, this is a great place to go, and as far as I know they’re the only place in London using Cessnas. The chief is very hands on and is very involved in the progress of his students. His personality is VERY friendly and understanding, and he is very passionate about flight training. From experience this is something that student benefits from, rather than being intimidated into making errors. He’s the type of instructor you can go to after hitting a wall with your flight training progress, and get you past your obstacles. The location is a very nice atmosphere, quiet in spite of being at the airport, perfect for getting the work done. Whether you are just getting started or continuing training I think it’s safe to say that if you go check this place out, you really might end up staying and making some new friends!

One of the best flight schools to do your training. They have knowledgeable instructors that will help you to accomplish your training objectives. Highly recommended, they have high standards of training and CFI himself will track your progress every step of the way! I truly appreciate the effort of my instructor as well.
