I have been regularly going to this dental office for nearly 20 years and seeing Dr. Vanweiren, once he retired I seen Dr. Lamothe and she has been great.However my last visit I was seen by Dr. Price and a young dental assistant. The assiant was prepping me for the filling before Dr. Price had seen me and was having difficulty with the dam. I asked her to remove it due to the pain and build up of saliva. She struggled with removing the brace but got it off and went I shut my mouth to swallow there was crunchy bits which I spit onto the bib they put around my neck. Shortly after Dr. Price came in and started the filling and asked me if I knew I had a crack in the tooth next to the one they were working on. This was news to me as I had xrays done recently and this was never mentioned. Filling was completed and I went about my day.I tried eating bread and I was having pain on the one side, thought I'm just sore because of the work done, tried to eat dinner that night and couldn't chew, couldn't drink water without pain and stinging, I could feel the rigid edges and chunk missing from my tooth with my tongue. I called the office after hours and left a voicemail.The receptionist returned my call the following day was kind enough to fit me in later that day.Dr. Price tried to determine which tooth was giving me pain and suggested they could redo the filling and/or fill the cracked tooth. I asked for the cracked tooth to be taken care of because I didn't have any pain up until that day.Alexis was assisting Dr. Price and she was very sweet and assured me she had many years of experience which was comforting because the young assistant who broke my tooth was either new and inexperienced or a student which was never disclosed to me. I didn't receive an apology or explanation and I feel like they didn't take accountability. Now I have a healthy tooth that is damaged.This is an unfortunate situation and I don't feel comfortable going back to this practice after all these years.

Very professional! Dr. Lamothe was never rushed, she took the time to answer all my questions as I had a complicated medical history. I strongly recommend this dentists services.

Love these Ladies !Not only make me feel comfortable, there is always a giggle during the pain they cause with my procedure, and of course, it's all their fault. Hahahha

Dentist isn’t my favourite place to go - but they make the experience as comfortable as possible - addressing concerns and answering questions- on time and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Just switched to Family Dentistry and can’t say enough great things about the staff!!Dr. Lamothe didn’t hesitate to refer me to a specialist for an issue she noticed with my implant that somehow went unnoticed for years with our previous Dentist. Very personable and professional and obvious that her staff loves working with her which speaks volumes.Thoroughly enjoyed my hygienist experience as well and somehow am looking forward to seeing the Dentist again in 6 months!?

All staff at Family Dentist on baseline road in Sherwood Park are absolutely wonderful. All staff are very caring and genuinely concerned for your comfort throughout your dental visit. Dr. Lamothe and her team are very professional and competent. I would recommend them to anyone.
