RIP Yo Bros, we miss you!City Ave Market : pretty expensive, sparse selection of very hit-or-miss produce, and the new touchscreen cashier system is much slower. So disappointing!!Previous place at this location, Young Brothers, WAS super fresh, had tons of great fairly-priced produce, and had very fast cashiers.

I was sad to see young bros go but relieved to find out it was going to remain a produce store. Don't think it's fair to compare prices with the previous store in a year of insane inflation and weather that ruined crops. Having said that, the prices here are still much better than other stores in the city. Of course it's not the same but there are also new products I don't remember, like heirloom tomatoes. I'm glad to have this business in the neighborhood!

We had been regulars at Young Bros for at least 5 years and then they slowly transitioned to the new owner's look. The place looks way better, but the quality of produce has gone down. I don't think the quality drop is dramatic but definitely perceptible, mostly because it isn't that fresh anymore. If in time, people get over the fact that it no longer is Young Bros, the new place might get enough turn over and I can imagine freshness and consequently quality going up again. Staff is friendlier now that the turnover is lower, guess that is a trade-off. Will update rating if freshness goes up again. Wishing luck to the new owners and staff!

recommended by my friend to shop the grocery here. Generally the products are very fresh and good especially spinach and some grapes. Staffs are very friendly too. Stores seems very busy no wonder why.

I stopped by this place over the weekend and it was a gem of a find! The produce is very fresh, the atmosphere of the store was nice and clean, and the staff were so kind. I talked to Rooney and he was very helpful in locating the products I needed and recommended me the fresh quality product for the day. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area :)

We use this market when we run out of produce of some kind at work. But almost 9 bucks for a large Purple cabbage the other day..!!?

Best shopping store for veggies! Cheap prices and beats any big box store. They used to have way more inventory and variety before the name change but it is nice being able to use a credit card.

Update: I’m delighted to report that slowly this produce store has improved since I lamented about the standard. I now give it four stars. The turn over has improved and the prices are generally fair and sometimes a bargain.

Veggies and fruits are very fresh. Cheap prices compared to other stores. I have no issue navigating around the store with my baby in the stroller. Love that they take credit card.
