Had a great evening out for dinner in the dining room. The butter crab app, king salmon and lamb mains, and the pumpkin pudding were amazing - the chefs really know how to present complimentary flavours. Nicole our server and Nikki the Somm treated us to an excellent dinner experience, along with others who popped in and out. This is not our first visit and won't be our last. Thank you!

Langdon Hall is easily one of the best dining experiences in the city. Been here a few times over the years, and while I think LH is still trying to find it's footing as the world opens back up (I remember their pre-2020 offering being mindblowingly good and truly different from anything I'd tasted), I'm happy to report that it's still great. We came here for lunch and got 2 appetizers, 2 mains, and 3 desserts (sweet tooth alert!).- Appetizers: The foie gras was a thing of beauty, so smooth and creamy. The poached lobster was swimming in rich butter, which made for a very decadent appetizer (though would have liked more lobster).- Mains: The ocean blanquette had an assortment of fresh seafood, but the star was the milky potato puree as the base. The atlantic turbot was crisped nicely, though a bit unadventurous.- Desserts: The blackberry bombe was pure artistry. The pot de creme was smooth, though would have liked a darker chocolate taste. The star dessert though was the brownie with espresso crumble and chocolate icecream - the icecream had a chocolate bean sweet/bitterness to it which was fantastic and complemented the brownie very well.Service was excellent - attentive, friendly, detailed with descriptions. The place was elegant. The vibe was special yet unpretentious. Sure, it's pricey, but Langdon Hall is definitely worth a try.

We enjoyed every aspect of our experience. There wasn’t a moment I couldn’t make eye contact with a staff member, there were floral arrangements on almost every flat surface, and the food was exactly what you would expect from a place of this calibre. Everything was delicious and prompt and our water glasses never empty. I’m sincerely blown away by how courteous and complementary the staff was commenting on my dress and offering us beverages as we walked throughout the building. I won’t soon forget this lovely night. I plan to be back to celebrate more happy occasions in the future.

The service was exceptional. Very friendly and continually on top of the cleanliness of table. The dishes were beautifully put together and served so nicely. The appetizer, the entree, the dessert and all the in-between were delicious and well made.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. It is amazing. Michelin man is coming to town soon, and I hope they give these guys a star. Personally, I’m giving them 5 stars.Food is exquisite, the service is just the right amount of serious and welcoming, the setting has an old-world charm to it, and that makes the entire experience unforgettable. We have been talking about our dinner here for weeks. Not to mention, it is rated #5 of Canada’s top 100 this year (2022).What a great night!

I don't really know how I feel about the food. The appetizers were great, the mains were decent. But, when you take into account the price - I expected so much more. The food was good but nothing special.

We were there for a two nights package, which included two dinners and two breakfast. We also had one lunch there. We had ups and downs for the food experiences. Our first lunch that's outside of the packaged price was underwhelming. We ordered the poached lobster (which was great), the chowder and the lamb. Both chowder and the lamb came to us lukewarm and the taste was okay only. The lamb only had two pieces which the portion is relatively small compare to the pricing. We also didn't served bread at lunch. We found out everyone got served bread except us during dinner. The server did apologized to us and offer to give us a loaf of sourdough bread to bring home (which we were never given). On the menu, there are a lot of sous vide food. I am 27 weeks pregnant which restricted many options for me because they are raw. Comparing to other fine dining restaurants I have been recently, the chef/server didn't try their best to accommodate my dietary restriction. So keep that in mind if you are going to dine there when you are expecting.Food temperature again was an issue for us during one dinner, where we order the poached crab, king salmon and smoked beef. Everything were lukewarm again and just doesn’t have a pleasant mouthfeel. The poached crab had some edible flower on it and we found there’s a small bug crawling around. We did sent it back and they prepared us a new one.Breakfast was definitely worth the value. The variety of the items are very good and many for you to choose from. Our last dinner at the restaurant with Smoked Beef (yes we ordered again and this time it’s hot) and Turkey, that's excellent. The food arrives in good temperature and was really enjoyable.Dinner dessert was also a highlight for us. From the Raspberry, Strawberry and Rhubarb to the Pumpkin Creme Brulee, all are done very well and I would love to have those again. One other complain is that the restaurant has small flies flying around all the time. That was quite annoying and affect the dining experience.

Food 5/5, Service: Breakfast 5/5 Lunch 4/5 Dinner 3/5Enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Food was amazing. A true from farm to table experience from their garden(must visit the garden tour!). Service was mostly great, but at dinner waited more than 20 mins for a water refill and about half an hour for an empty drink to be removed from the table, also bill was provided without asking the second after dessert was finished (at like 9:30 pm so not that late). Also, not sure why, but the side of the green beans paste was on all three of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The whole resort and dining room give off an old school vibe to it that goes well with the upscale food. The menu may seem traditional and unimaginative if you just look at the names. But the meal was quite the opposite. 9 times out of 10 the chicken is really just chicken and you shouldn’t get it at fancy restaurants. This is that 1 exception. The chicken dish was truly so inventive. The white meat, dark meat and bone were all cooked in a different form and were separated. And the croissant pudding almost like a savory bread pudding. Really was something I’ll remember. That dish alone is worthy of 5 stars.

Close to a Michelin star restaurant-style quality. For starters, we had the Sea Scallops and Foie Gras. For mains, I got the lamb and my husband got the steak. Cooked to perfection, packed with flavour. There was home made sourdough and an herb bread with homemade truffle butter. It’s a wonderful fine dining experience. There was a live piano player there, as we enjoyed the meal. Our server, Nicole and the sommelier were friendly and knowledgeable.
