Crooked Creek Campground
Just got back from May long weekend. Great campground for staging day trips into Waterton National park or day trips down to Glacier National park. Very friendly staff and nice clean sites. Brand new picnic tables and clean washrooms too. Nice little creek flowing through the campground. Yes its beside a hiway and you do get some road noise but nothing to complain about. Lots of improvements have been made. Booking again soon!

Husband and I were there last weekend and we can't wait to come again. Very clean and management was so nice. So close to the park and the price was perfect. But the best was our view. Highly recommend this campground.

We loved this place, it is close to Waterton National Park, so we were able to enjoy ourselves a great deal. They have showers and clean bathrooms. The sites are large for the most part. It is close to a crooked creek, hence crooked creek for its name. The people who run the place are very nice and did a great job at making us welcome.

Fav campground in the Waterton area! Murray is super friendly and accommodating. Every time I visit, there are upgrades to the campground. New sites being added, more ammenities available at the store etc.Sites are beautiful, and there is a good selection depending on if you are tenting or have an rv. Bathroom/shower houses are clean, and having the washing station for dishes is a nice touch. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking to explore the area!

We stayed for three nights in July. Had a great stay. We stayed at site 121. It was a large and mainly private site. Walking in from the parking lot was not hard. The wagons supplied by the campground made that simple. Our kids loved staying on the ‘island’ for tenting. Bathroom in the walk in section was very nice - not a basic outhouse as expected - lights, and running water. Potable water very close to the tents. Free hot showers were a plus. Camp staff was very welcoming and helpful. Sites varies in size and privacy (we had booked 124, but it was smaller and not very private. Head-high shrubs surrounded most of the tent sites. That provided reasonable shelter from wind. Store at campground had good firewood and plenty of ice, and some other camping essentials. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Waterton.

Great Campground, very well run and taken care of. Cleanest pit toilet washrooms I have ever seen in my life. Also has central shower and washroom facility. Very handy little shop with the bare basic necessities. There is also laundry room and a sort of community room attached- which are maybe only for the campers who stay all summer. Quick drive to Waterton townsite, but around 1-2hrs if you are biking there.

Two nights here, electric and water only, they had no sites available with sewer available even though the place was maybe 1/3 full. Closest Campground we found to Waterton that was outside the park, only about 4 miles away. Site itself was OK.

Murray, the manager of the campground, went above and beyond in reaching out to suggest that we move from the site I had booked to site 16, as it would be a more comfortable stay with our large tent. Thanks again Murray! The girl working in the store was also super friendly. The campsite was quiet and the location was perfect. The bathroom facilities were really clean. We will be back next year!

Overall, not a bad campground but not a place that is going to completely impress you as well. You can tell that an effort is being made to improve the place which is a good thing. However, the campground is way to crowded. Not a lot of space is provided to you and privacy is limited. I have more space living in inner city Calgary. No joke. Also, the shower house does not open until 9am. For early birds, that is a pain in the butt, as there were line ups in the morning for showers. General store on site only had ice and wood. The staff and fellow campers were all very friendly and easy going. I would say that this campground is sufficient for those campers who would spend most of their time off site (ie. Waterton National Park) and just need a spot to bed down for the night. If you are looking for a campground were you would spend most of your day at in peace and serenity, Crooked Creek may not be the spot for you.

We stayed in the walk in tent sites and they are awesome. There are huge bear lockers at e every site and you can tell they are really trying to their best to make the campground nice for their guests. They were also super accommodating about late check in.
