I love visiting this store! Beautiful selection of plants and fun gift items and the staff are SO GREAT. I needed to find a plant with some pretty specific requirements and Ted was so knowledgeable and patiently helped me find some great options. The rest of the team members that helped me were so great too.

I really enjoyed my time here. The name says it all. Although I would put garden first. I have been here several times and am always impressed with the service and selections. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well lit and clean. The best part is just being in the midst of plants and flowers and shrubs. I would definitely recommend coming here for a great selection of greenery and gifts.

I visited the store for the first time today to get my wife flowers for her birthday and was treated to world class service from the entire team and specifically Bopenahana. I was welcomed with open arms asked what I was looking for, shown different option to choose from, and given different explanations. On my way out the store manager was very friendly and Glenda was so kind and helped carry my flowers out. I walked into the store in a good mood but after the great service left over the moon. Thank you Ellerslie Gift and Garden. I highly recommend them and look out for Bopenahana or Glenda they are the best.

I have been to this newer location several times and have nothing but good things to say. Today in particular I went to buy a lemon tree and was helped by Bopenhana, a staff member, who went above and beyond to assist me. She was an absolute delight! A knowledgeable gardener and an even better human being. Interacting with Bopenhana was quite literally the highlight of my day. 11/10 would recommend.

I’ve been to the new location twice and I’m afraid I’m not going to try a third. The three plants I bought labelled as Joe Pye Weed certainly are not. And they were not cheap. I have no idea what they are or their habit. No one offered to help me so I had to rely on the label to tell me what they were. The place is so cramped and convoluted and staff is not considerate enough to let customers by. If they have a cart and only one cart can make it through the cramped aisles, they expected me, the paying customer, to back up and go all the way around. Especially ridiculous behaviour and layout with Covid still a concern. PS THE COMPANY HAS NEVER EMAILED ME AND I TOOK SCREENSHOTS OF MY SUBMISSION AND KNOW I GOT MY EMAIL CORRECT. NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM OR REPLY TO THEIR “REPLY” ON HERE. USELESS.

We visited the nursery for the first time and were blown away! Not only was there an amazing selection of plants and other items, the staff were exceptional. Both Patty and Bopahana took lots of time to answer our questions and numerous other staff checked in with is and helped aswell. We will absolutely be coming back!!

We bought a large resin waterfall at the Ellerslie location and had Bopenhana help us. She was extremely helpful, friendly and made sure it was loaded safely and helped until it was tied down in case we needed anything. She was awesome to deal with.

Pretty standard selection of plants, not too dissimilar to what you could find at the likes of Canadian tire but the prices are scandalous. Saw a snake plant in a 10 inch pot for $120 for example, zz plant in a 10 inch for $150. Could literally get both of those for about $30 at IKEA. Staff are friendly and the place is nice to walk around, I enjoyed my time there, but the prices are ridiculous.
