One of the best ramen places I've been to. Broth is light and flavourful and first time I've had melon soda that was this delicious. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town!

Little gem in the heart of uptown! This little ramen shop has fresh yummy ramen. Has various tradition ramen and a few specialty. The place is clean and servers are very attentive and polite. They offer various don and appetizers. Must try!

The restaurant had a spacious interior, but I found the seating to be a bit uncomfortable. The service was friendly, which was a plus. However, when it came to the prices, I did feel that they were a bit high as the quality of the food didn't quite measure up to what I was paying.We ordered some fried chicken as an appetizer to share and unfortunately, it didn't taste good. The flavor was bland and the chicken itself was dry. It did not leave a good impression for us.Moving on to the ramen, I found it to be disappointing as well. The broth lacked depth of flavor and the chashu (braised pork) was not traditional and lacked flavor. The ingredients didn't stand out in quality, and the portion size was decent but not overly generous. I've had better ramen at other spots in Calgary.All in all, I didn't have a terrible experience at Ramen Taka, but it also wasn't a particularly outstanding one. The restaurant didn't leave a lasting impression on me. I found the prices to be a bit steep for the quality offered, and the overall taste and presentation of the food did not meet my expectations. If you're looking for a good ramen in Calgary, I would recommend checking out some other options.

Tried Taka on a whim and enjoyed the speedy service and tasty food. The broth of the Black Garlic Ramen was fantastic and the menma was great! The only let-down was how thin the chashu was; it would have been great to have a bit of a grilled flavour or more thickness to the meat. Otherwise fantastic!

Had the tonkotsu ramen. First time here and I really liked that their menu offered ramen, curry, and some rice bowls.We had the potato croquettes, takoyaki, and Hokkaido based chicken.And all the same ramen.The potato was exactly what I expected positively, the takoyaki was nice a warm and flavourful, and the chicken was very delicious and moist without being greasy (and boneless).Ramen was mostly good. A little different from my favoured taste pallete but not bad by anymeans. They give a half egg and the yolk is still gooey (which is important in my ramen). I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back!

Decent spot for Ramen, our server was amazing and super friendly. Enjoyed the service so much than the food! Only reason I’m giving low rating is because the only protein they offer is Pork!No chicken and beef options!

I ordered the vegan ramen and it was so salty it was inedible. Servers were okay but took a bit to get their attention and they messed up my friend's order twice.

I was recommended by a local friend to try this ramen shop in town. The shop was small but clean and organized. The ramen menu had a great variety and the price was ok. They offered both dine in and take out. We enjoyed our ramen at the restaurant. It was made by order and everything tasted fresh and hot. The broth was just right and not too salty after I selected less salty. The portion was reasonable too. They can get quite busy so the waiting time can be quite long. It is wise to call ahead to check on the status of the waiting time.
