Hippie Dog

I have taken two classes from Hippie Dog: shed hunting and morel hunting. The classes welcomed my dog who is an unexpected breed (Brussels Griffon) for such training. The classes provided useful background information and thoughtful, positive training. I have been involved in training and competition in a wide range of canine sports for over 40 years, so I am pretty picky about trainers. I highly recommend Hippie Dogs to everyone who is looking for new ways to work with and have fun with their dog.

Hippie dog only uses positive training methods to teach dogs and their owners. You can see how much the dogs are enjoying the experience, no tension or fear as with classes that use more aversive training methods. The space was large so that each dog and owner had sufficient space to work on skills without being right on top of other dogs. Highly recommend if you are looking to develop a strong, positive bond with your dog and want to train them the basics that all dogs and their owners should know.

Inga from hippy dog is great. I did some classes with her a few years ago. She helped me with my rescue Buddy. He has come so far because of her help. I recommed her she is the best.

Inga is very helpful, and knowledgeable. Training dogs is her art and she is very passionate about what she does.I've trained with her, and watched as she spends time with animals and their owners helping build a better bond and relationship between dogs and humans.I highly recommend anyone looking for quality training that is all possitive reinforcement based!You will get the results, but you have to be willing to put in the work.

I've worked with Hippie Dog for years and can't recommend it enough. The first time was 1:1 with Inga after years of the same issues with my previous dog. She gave me such helpful and straightforward advice, she changed our relationship (and my dog's bad habits) for the rest of his and our life together.When it came time to get my new pup I wanted a rescue so I worked directly with Inga to find the right fit for me. She came with me to view potential dogs and steered me from making some possible poor choices. Super helpful! I LOVE my new dog.After I got the new pup, he and I did Hippie Dog's group training sessions and I was really happy with the staff and their great dog advice. Hippie Dog and Inga are an excellent choice. I am so grateful that Inga is very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about helping dogs and their human companions. Inga only uses positive training methods, the dogs are happy, the dog owner is happy, the training is well organized and in my experience everything flows smoothly. This is easier than I expected. I see why this is called hippy dog, but I like to call it happy dog :-) because this training doesn't involve any stress for you or your dog! Happy dog, happy you! Hippie dog has different classes, I recommend all of them! This will also help you create a positive bond with your best friend while remaining the alpha.
