Super disappointed in the $75 delivery charge for already over priced second hand pieces. Not affordable anymore, making it easier for people to buy new rather than reuse and repurpose. Won't be donating there either as I'd rather give away or donate to a store that makes second hand accessible and affordable.

Favourite of the second hand shops. Sometimes there's a lot of things that strike my fancy, sometimes there's not... depends on what's been dropped off or donated. Glad to support their cause!

Wow.I finished a renno in my home, saving the tear out carefully. Double glazed windows, electric heaters, ceiling lights, and a TON of hand and power tools I inherited. Filled the back of my SUVJust got off the phone and was told, 'Yeah, bring them by, and we'll take a look.'Really? They don't have a dumpster for discards LIKE EVERY OTHER PLACE that takes donations?I mean, I stopped shopping there a few years ago when they drove their prices up to almost new levels.Somebody's making a decent living b/c of the United Way, and cleaning up on giving 'Community Service' offenders a place to hang out.I'm going to Kimco for the metal stuff and the dump for the rest and I'll give the tools away on the next Give Away Day.Rip off prices and apathetic staff. Fuggedaboudit.

Great place to find things to complete projects. Interesting furniture and odds and ends too. Pricing can sometimes be inconsistent or seem high for what the item is. (And sometimes is a bargain...!)

A great place to save money on new or gently used building supplies like doors and tile and hardware as well as a place to find obscure items like an extra-large attic ladder. Stock changes quickly so you have to check frequently and jump on whatever you want.

So disappointed. I get that cost of everything is going up but this is over the top. Used items shouldn't be within 10% of something new, especially when items are donated free. It's now more about making a profit than helping out.

Since moving the prices and deals have disappeared. Sure some items can be good but more and more each visit is pointless. The younger lead foreman has a brutally disrespectful attitude and I will no longer donate. We donated quite a bit over the years and at the end of the day it doesn't matter and its evident with their attitudes now. The old location had a more personable feel to it and the new one isnt like the old. It meant a lot holding items until I could get in to the shop at the end of day. Not many of the old guard are present at new site. More overhead, shift in practices such as bringing inventory from Toronto, more management, means higher prices that IMO don't ad up.

That used to be my go-to place for just about everything. And then they moved to the new location. I have gotten a couple lights at very good prices. That would have cost me a lot more Elsewhere. For that I am extremely thankful. But what I don't like now is the price they have for the furniture that's been donated is very very pricey. Why the heck would I want to pay $600 for a two-seater couch. And there was a sink there used, stainless steel, for wait for it 350 bucks. There was nothing great about it it was a stainless steel sink. I can go get a brand new one for 200. Unfortunately I have lost my faith and don't want to go back. The last three times I've been back to try to find things, the new prices just made me turn around and walk out the door. And go to a store and buy it brand new. Pretty sure that is not what Habitat for Humanity is for. I do find there new pricing Way Beyond what I think it should be for something that was donated. I know the rent has to be paid, a most likely a heck of a lot more where they are now, but why should I be paying for it.

Treated my Donations with Zero Respect...I brought some items to donate to H4H in Kingston today, including an old table that was my Mom's that I seriously agonized over donating. It was a unique piece that would have looked great being re-finished, giving it a new life. That was the image I held in my mind as I handed it over to the staff member at the donation point.I watched as he took it to a dumpster at the back of the lot, called to another staff member that they had another table"

We use to shop at the old location all the time, now we find it well over priced for donated goods. It goes to a good cause yes, however their price points are outrageous, you might better buy new and pay a little extra. The store is so disorganized as well (yuck)We've been in the ones in toronto area and Ottawa their prices and store cleanliness are amazing
