Not impressed with Monestary at all. For $300 we booked the Superior King Suite for a proposal. The room is very small, and the tub was in rough shape. The plastic on the control panel is coming off and was very difficult to push the control buttons and turn the tub on/off, the jets were dirty and left behind a lot of black residue with each use, the TV had terrible reception and kept flashing white (I have a video), the bed was SUPER uncomfortable - we had to sleep on it sideways, because it felt like our feet were above our heads when laying properly and there is no one in the buding at all past 6. We live a few minutes away and strongly considered leaving the room key on the desk and going home. I absolutely do not advise going here. Look elsewhere!

As a solo traveler and a male , I was hesitant to books this hotel . I mean a spa hotel ? It was fantastic ! Upon arrival, every worry vanished , the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone from reception to the chef was very kind. I will definitely return to this location next time and highly recommend getting off the beaten pathThe room was spotless and comfortable. It was like a home away from home

As good the rooms are, the customer service is RIDICULOUS! I had booked the room (one with the jacuzzi) for 21st and I needed it to celebrate my 1st anniversary with my boyfriend in the midnight. While booking the room over the phone the person (I forgot to note his name) booked it from the first hour (12am) of 21st to 22nd till 11am. Surprisingly I got the deal for the prize of one day. So I got assurance from him multiple times about the accommodation. I also called the hotel couple of times on different occasions to confirm the booking as well as to receive a cake on my behalf for the special night. On 20th when I went to drop the cake the lady over the reception had no idea about the booking and there was some misunderstanding she said in the booking and she said she’ll accommodate us as per the said date and time. We checked in at the midnight and received a call from the supervisor in the noon to empty the room. I told her about the arrangement what was promised while booking but she denied and asked for extra charge (around CAD 200-300) to stay till the next day. My boyfriend who had come all the way from Toronto was disappointed and I was infuriated. We just packed our stuff and walked out forget about the Jacuzzi! We ruined our day by getting there. I just wanted to say if the hotel could have let me know about this we could have saved money or planned our trip accordingly. They really ruined our special day!

We had a beautiful room, comfortable bed, hot tub ,wine, chocolate strawberries. Last but not least was the a young man name Niicolas ,he was at the front dest and we were having difficulty making reservations at a certain restaurant, he went out of his way and made them on line for us.Thank you all for an enjoyable stay !

We booked a king suite with jetted tub in the room. Our stay was great, the bed was comfortable but the jetted tub was definitely the highlight of the room. Water pressure was really good, the tub filled very quickly. The jets are very, very strong and water sprays out to the floor. Giving 4 stars because the person working the front desk when we arrived wasn't very personable but thankfully the evening shift just began and Taylor completed our check in.

Drove in for staycation at the Spa, but was not told that the amenities are all closed. We weren’t able to access the sauna/hot tub/gym room, on the way out we expressed this to the staff where they said they would not mention this over the phone to people making reservations. They said it was noted on the website (which I found after it says they are closed for Phase 3 and would also not be giving out robes or sandals) but we are in Phase 2 now, other local facilities have hot tubs and saunas open again, robes and sandals were provided in our room for us but the Vitality room was still closed. We had to pay for a day membership at a gym downtown. The Cafe is also closed so we were not able to get or provided with any type of breakfast at all. When booking originally we were given 15% off the price for YMCA members, however at check out that was removed and not applied to our bill. Apparently they are no longer doing this discount and because we had to rebook a date they removed our original discount and would not honour it for a later date. We paid the same cost it would have been WITH all the amenities open and without the 15% YMCA discount. Very dissatisfied with the fact that the customers are paying for closed facilities. Two small bottles of water were provided, I had requested one more bottle of water also that never got delivered to the room either. We also had a couple spa services which on the website it says that hotel guests receive 15% off spa services. When checking in to spa services they knew we were hotel guests as we had this conversation and had on hotel robes. We were charged full price on our final spa bill as well and not given the 15% discount advertised for hotel guests, it seems like they avoid giving out the discount where they can get away with it. The services themselves and the ladies who provided the spa services were fantastic.Overall, spent over $500 for one night, for the hotel room and two services, without having access to any type of breakfast or facility amenities and won’t be a returning guest after this stay.

Not well cleaned here, lots of dust on the tv and shelves. Not really a big deal for me. Internet offered provided 30Mbps Up and Down, and was very solid. The fridge is hidden in a drawer, bathroom was clean but if you want house cleaning to come you have to ask for it. The main parts were clean, toilet, jacuzzi ect. Provide a 720p tv with hd channels, 32inch.

Got an outside room for a one night stay and it was great. The customer service was friendly and quick. Covid guidelines were met perfectly while also keeping guests as comfortable as possible. The room was clean and comfortable, included everything listed on the website, with a surprise mini fridge! Overall a great night for me and my boyfriend!
