Pick the cake up wasn't what I asked for once I got in home. I wanted a white cake with white icing. It had Custer filling inside it and it was not sweet at all. It was no taste to it but it was beautiful looking.

I’ve been ordering from this place last couple of years. Love the cakes overall. Honestly, giving 3 stars just for the cakes.But I had to write this, last few visits, I’ve noticed a guy working there. Seems very very very rude and disinterested. When asked about different cakes he was least interested in giving any info. Simply said (I’m not a baker). But yes, you work there, you must know what ingredients are used, which cakes can be made, what’s the time frame etc. He was absolutely discourteous and unpleasant to talk to. Good businesses should know what kind of people they need upfront. People come here to order for their special days, not to feel bad and regretful after placing an order.

Purchased the Fruit Medley for my mom's birthday. The cake I got doesn't resemble the photo on their menu, the top layer was visibly smaller than the second and the base layer. Shrinkflation? Very disappointed.

OMG...just ordered from here and we were not disappointed at all. We ordered an assortment of desserts and to say they were delicious is an understatement. They were so fresh, sweet and tasty. We will be back for more soon!

Ordered a cake for our Mom’s 80th birthday. It was AMAZING! So beautiful and attention to detail was phenomenal. Cake was moist and delicious, buttercream frosting was yummy!! Will definitely be coming back!!

I decided to stop by to pick up some desserts today. Unfortunately when I got home, the box broke from the bottom and all my desserts fell onto the ground. I was upset, cried a lot, and called them to explain what happened. They told me to come back.When I came back, the owners were comforting me and replaced my whole order. They could tell how stressed I was. They reminded me that it's okay because bad days happen to all of us. I am so impressed by how they handled this situation. They are very kind people, and I will always support their business.Thank you for being so kind and understanding. You've made my day so much better!

Don't know what happened but this place used to be 5 stars before they started using banana extract flavor instead of real banana in the banana cream pie. Girlfriend bought me one because it used to be my favourite and I was so excited until we both tried our first bite and both of our faces turned sour. Super dissappointed.EDIT: The information I have is based on taste and buying pies from you guys for years. Maybe I got a one off but it's not the first time I've heard that they are much different so I am posting a review to let others know in case they are the same as me. That is what a review is for.

I ordered a bunch of pastries from The Pastry Place & Bake Shop and they were delicious! The whole family loved the baked good selection - especially the Portuguese Egg Tarts! We will definitely be back to order more soon!
