I have visited Dr. Ohata's office several times and each time has been an encouraging experience. Appointment times are precise and I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes, sometimes I get in early. Receptionist has been helpful and knowledgeable. Calls are returned in a timely fashion. Dr. Ohata listens and is understanding and knowledgeable and offers options based on my preference. I would recommend him and his staff.

Dr. O'Hata, is very professional in what he does, he has been the first doctor to actually help me with my Psoriotic Arthritis in years. Today I still deal with him, and his awesome staff. Never any problems since I started going to see him.

Not impressed with the doctor at all. Been suffering years with chronic pain and fibromyalgia. This doctor tells me he doesn’t treat fibromyalgia or chronic pain and I need to see my family doctor. What a waste of time and energy to drive all the way there to see him. Useless! So again, left in limbo without help. Thanks.

Referrals from a GP take a long time in BC but Dr Ohata was worth the 2 month wait. He was friendly, knowledgable, and empathetic, told me my options, explained the mechanics of my condition and as my trigger finger seemed to be improving over the 2 months of no longer working in concrete construction, he suggested I waited before considering cortisone injections because you can only have those shots twice in your lifetime in each tendon. When I told him that I was getting passionate about rock climbing, he was quite frank about the implications on my trigger finger but supportive and told me the best over the counter options to use in the meantime. I would definitely return for continued care and recommend him to others.
