The Oceanfront Hotel- call for booking a room or renting an apartment.

A wonderful family owned hotel, located right on the beach. The location is great, right next to the ferry and right down the street from the local co-op, and the local coffee shops. Although the hotel is older, it is well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the balconies were very spacious.

Robin and Ray and their team are very welcoming and accommodating. The ease of access in the accessible suite was excellent.We ate lunch and dinner twice and our food was really very good. A first class five star ten out of ten stay.

Loved the deck space! Partially enclosed decks help cut the wind but don't minmize the stunning view of being right on the water. There were even extra blankets provided for colder weather deck experiences. The decor was cute and each room was a little different. Mini fridge and microwaves in the room was great convenience. Having access to the common space freezer and kitchen was handy too. Wonderful idea to have extra reading material and board games available in the common space for family fun or quiet time. Loved being just beside the ferry terminal, that's extremely convenient!

I booked two nights at the Oceanfront Hotel for my wife and I's second anniversary. We had a wonderful experience for many reasons:-Robin, the owner, went to the local art market on my request and purchased the most wonderful vase & journal in the theme of our trip. She also sourced a lovely bottle of Champagne. Her willingness to go above and beyond was so appreciated - she helped make this one for the history books.-The room, while rustically appointed, was spotless in all the ways that matter. We work at a hotel so the attention to detail was evident and noted.-The staff took a personal interest in making our trip special, giving us great advise and local pointers.Overall, the Oceanfront Hotel exceeded expectations across the board and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A really nice, clean place with beautiful rooms and great scenery. The only downside is that, at this time of year (end of September), the town itself is limited on services. Don't count on finding supper if you arrive on a ferry after 5pm. That said, there is a shared kitchen in the hotel and some rooms have kitchenettes so if you have the makings with you, you can cook something up.

Amazing spot in one my favourite places! Right on the ocean, a stone's throw (literally) from the ferry terminal. Room looked over the water, the sounds of the ocean greeting me when I entered. Ferry sound never bothered me at all. Ray and Robin are amazing hosts. My room even had a heated towel rack. How have I lived my 50 years without a heated towel rack!! A+++

How is it possible more people don't know about this location? From the beautiful, cozy, clean, and homey accommodations, to the stunning beach front views that are chalked FULL of wildlife and sea life, this is definitely somewhere my family and I will come back time and time again! The owners of the hotel, Ray and Robin are both charming, caring, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. They deserve to have their hotel shouted from the top of everyone's lungs for the whole world to know!Pros:SUPER comfy beds, pillows, and soft bedding.AMAZING location.BEAUTIFUL island full of gorgeous scenic gems.VERY friendly island folk, they will all wave and say hi to you!GREAT showers.PERFECT balconies.AWESOME owners.QUIET and relaxing!SO family friendly!!!!Cons: WE COULDN'T STAY LONGER.

Right on the water in Sointula. The rooms are comfortable and the people working here are friendly. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep and the ferry toots you awake in the morning. Because of covid there was no restaurant or bar but we were able to get a meat pie and a bottle of red wine so we could enjoy the sunset from our balcony.

Beautiful view of the water, amazing friendly staff, ability to cook if you choose to. Comfortable rooms, onsite Pub in Summer. Great getaway. Bakery nearby as well as a good restaurant. A winner for people looking for a cool place to hang out, boat, fish, hike, bike, getaway from it all.
